On October 23rd, 2017 I went to Gregory K & Son. My car had been in an accident and the collision centre that I was going to use said that this mechanic was great and would provide a good idea of what needs to be fixed under the hood. After hearing such great things, I took my car over to have it looked at and they took the car right away which was great! While I was waiting for the verdict, I asked the person at the counter how much an oil change would be, just for reference as I had recently moved to Sudbury and didn't have any connections yet. The person's response was, "for your car, $55 minimum." That was red flag number one for me. I understand some variance based on the amount of oil a car needs, etc. but I've been getting my oil and filters changed for $30 + tax for YEARS. This shop's pricing seemed like they wanted to take advantage of a young woman that was by herself. While I was sitting in their waiting area, I suddenly heard a sawing sound and got very nervous. About 10 minutes later, the mechanic comes over to me and says that I should just scrap the car because it's not worth fixing it. He then told me that he cut off a piece of my front grille because it was "flapping around". Let me just say that they DID NOT ask my permission before cutting up my front grille. That is just unacceptable. Secondly, the piece that he cut was NOT "flapping around" as I already had 3 different guys pulling, poking, and prodding at the damaged area and all 3 had said that I was safe and nothing would move. The level of professionalism and respect for my consent was appalling and I will never be going back here again. If you want your car to be treated like a piece of scrap metal, then this is the place for you!

I've been with Gregory K & Son for over 6 years and i always send family and friends over to them. With their trusted mechanics and honest expertise , i would never go anywhere else. They are like family now. I look forward to buying a new vehicle with them down the road!

As a student/loyal customer with minimal funds this is for sure the best place to go in sudbury! They will not screw you over or over charge you for no reason. Very honest people and they provide outstanding customer service ! Defintely the best place in sudbury for automotive services.

Gregory k and son sales and service always go above the call of duty,I have purchased many vehicles over the years of all different types for my business and personal needs, Darren and Greg go out of there way to help me be informed about my purchases and treat my dollars as there own, no one likes to spend money on vehicles but it's refreshing to know I have great people like Darren and Greg and Paul in my corner looking out for my interests. With vast knowledge in vehicle repairs and types of vehicles available it's refreshing to purchase a vehicle that has been thoroughly checked by real mechanics .Thanks guys and keep up the great service I know I'll keep coming back.
