Great Lakes Dental Care

I can't speak highly enough about this dentist and their entire office staff. I had a very large amount of work done over the past few months and they did an amazing job of explaining everything to me throughout the process. The work done looks amazing and when an unexpected move came about for me, they did everything possible to speed up the care plan to get me taken care of. And finally, when an issue arose with insurance, they worked very hard to resolve the problem and make sure I didn't owe a large amount of money. To do this much quality work in a relatively short time with no pain and a supportive staff, I only wish I still lived in Michigan to continue my dental experience with Great Lakes Dental Care.

I have been very pleased with Great Lakes Dental. I have seen several different dentists over the years and they are by far the best. They made me feel comfortable and the prices are very reasonable. *Update: After my fourth visit, and having spent quite a bit of money, I am less impressed. I came in today and was told I have a $200 account balance, when the last time I left I was told I paid in full. I asked the woman who collects payments how this could be and I was basically told she can't look into the discrepancy because it would take too long, and that I need to call my insurance company. All I wanted was for her to verify that it was not an error on their end, but she quickly got a bad attitude, which made mine get worse also. I left feeling very frustrated and wondering if I can trust the pricing they give upfront. I am looking into spending a few thousand dollars with them over the coming months, but now I am rethinking that. The work they do is top notch, but the service I received today was very poor.

I love Great Lake Dental! The staff are all amazing, and very professional. They take time to explain, and help your understand any treatment plan that is needed. Would recommend this dental office to anyone!

While I am fortunate to have never required extensive dental care, I always look forward to my brief exams with Dr. Lingenfelter. It’s comforting to know that if I ever do break a tooth, at least I’ll have the opportunity to gaze into his saucy eyes. Definitely makes for an enjoyable experience!

Great staff, very attentive and friendly. Beautiful work. Would absolutely recommend to anyone, especially people that are scared of the dentist.
