Road up is in progressively rougher shape. We parked about 4 km from the park and walked. Note: There are NO roads into this PP - trails only. In the winter, the trails are open to snowmobiles, but in the summer it is open to foot traffic only. Trails were in good shape - though there was still a fair bit of snow. We hiked to Saint Margaret Lake for an overnight and had the entire place to ourselves.
Great place to snowmobile! Beginners to advanced. Lots of cabins, groomed trails and deep snow tree riding that is generally safe. If you like high alpine you may want to stay clear as this type of riding is few and far between.
Fun place to go rip on the sled if you're from around Kelowna. Never super busy, lots of fresh tracks. Trail pass is a good deal if you stay in the area. - 1 star for having to pay for a trail pass early season when the groomer hasn't even been out at all. Don't have to pay in whistler/pemberton until the groomer has been out on its maiden voyage... just sayin.
