Story

The Granville Island Veterinary Hospital (GIVH) has been operating since 1981; the doctors and staff of the Granville Island Veterinary Hospital have been dedicated as a team to the prevention of disease and preservation of the age old human-animal bond with empathy, compassion and respect. We are proud to announce that we are the official veterinarians for the Vancouver Police Dogs.

The goals of the Granville Island Veterinary Hospital have always been to heal our patients and advance the science of Veterinary Medicine. We are committed to staying on the cutting edge of new and innovative technology and to applying state of the art procedures for our patients' benefit. Through the principle of group practice, we are able to quickly focus our knowledge and expertise where the need is most urgent.

These people are angels. GIVH has taken care of two of beloved pets from arrival to end. Their staff showed us compassion in our worse moments and share love with our animals every visits. I can comfortably say your fur baby will be in the best of care with GIVH

The staff are super professional. Very friendly the place is clean and the pets look like they are well cared for and loved. If I am ever in the doghouse I know where I want to be.

Excellent service!! Wonderful Vets they take special care with ur fur babies. Clean environment, nice staff, prices are reasonable.

We’ve been bringing our dog to this clinic for the past 5 years and have always received great service. My dog even stops outside the clinic when we are going for a walk, instead of running away terrified! The pricing has also been very reasonable.

We've always had wonderful experiences here with all of their vets and techs. They're so great with our fearful rescue dog and highly skilled and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend this place.
