Golden Lake Park Campground

This place advertises to be ATV friendly with abundant trails nearby. They don't have a clue and give you no information when inquiring about trail passes, maps etc. A lot of regulars in the park also not helpful and treat transient campers like outsiders. Ending up obtaining some trail passes and maps at a nearby dealership only to find out the nearby trails were closed. The place was not well kept and we were provided with a site to small for our trailer. The lake also contains parasites causing a rash. Great vacation!!! Update your website as you ARE NOT ATV FRIENDLY!

Spent a week at the campground right at the shore of the lake, we had a great time. The kids had fun in the water since it's very shallow and we didn't need to worry about them. The staff are great, very friendly. With all they had to do because of the flooding this spring (2017), they still had a big smile. Thank you for a great week, keep up with the great work.

Beautiful views. Too wet when raining. Washrooms and showers need to be cleaned The constant rain has made it extremely difficult for staff to keep up. I believe this is the best place we have ever camped at. Stayed 8 days and totally enjoyed it all including the rain. Highly recommended

3rd year coming to Golden Lake decided on two weeks great campground well kept and the people are amazing had a great time at the Halloween party thrown for the kids and the adults have made it a family tradition to come here from now on. Todd

Wonderful Family oriented park, wlll run and well maintained. Great assortment of seasonal campers and weekenders. A ton of great activities every weekend.
