Story

Lakeside is a quiet fishing park nestled on the banks of Muskrat Lake, 4 miles west of the village of Cobden, Ontario in the heart of Renfrew County.

Lakeside Cottages and Trailer Park has been exsiting since 1970 being located in Cobden, Ontario. We believe that you are never to old to have fun, fish, or camp. We have activites focused on a mature audience including fishing, camping, and relaxing.

We offer housekeeping cottages and serviced and non-serviced camping sites. Gas and oil mix is available on site, as are boats, motors, docking and live bait. Open from mid-May through to September 30th.

We at Lakeside are proud to be a part of the continuing effort to preserve this natural wonderland while providing the comforts and services enjoyed by the many anglers and naturalists that make Lakeside an annual tradition.

Our housekeeping units are at the lake shore only steps from the central docking facility.

Whether you decide to take advantage of our housekeeping cottages or to set up camp, we welcome the opportunity to extend some good old-fashioned Northern hospitality.

Lakeside is within 5 to 20 minutes drive to area attractions such as White Water rafting on the Ottawa River, Bungee-Jumping, Golfing, Beach, Bonnechere Caves, Storyland, Gigantic Water Slides & more…..

Beautiful Muskrat Lake is approximately 10 miles long with recorded depths to 300' and offers a wide variety of fish such as northern pike, walleye, lake trout, small and large mouth bass, muskellunge, sturgeon and numerous pan fish.

Northern pike and walleye attract the mid May to end of June fishermen, whereas July, August & September will see a greater number of bass fishermen.

Of course northerns and walleye are always available at any time of the season.
