Story

Friendly, qualified, caring staff, 1:4 staff-camper ratio. Camp is a safe, special learning place with riding, waterfront, music, ESL, extreme adventure and traditional programs. 1-7 week sessions. Campers experience riding lessons (Eng. & W), archery, canoeing, kayaking, climbing wall,mt. Biking, water trampoline and blob, music lessons, overnight canoe and trail rides, whitewater rafting, sports & games etc.. 100 acres of scenic trails, on the beautiful Bonnechere River. Frontier Trails receives international campers as well as children from Ontario near and far. Outdoor learning presents opportunities to be challenged by something new, realize an undiscovered talent and increase confidence and skills. Year-round outdoor ED and team-building available for schools, group retreats or rentals. We also host Families for camping and cottage rentals, Family Farm stays, Birthday Parties, Weddings, School Groups, Girl Guides, Churches . We also host year round Family TRAIL RIDES as we always keep in mind that we are : TEACHING, FUN, MEMORIES and FRIENDS.

Where do I start? I can't say enough good things about this camp! We have been involved with Frontier Camp since before time. Our family loves everything about them...... Our 10 year old twin girls attend Summer Camp as well as March Break Camp (which is not too far away and they are already packed!) The programs that they run are absolutely fantastic, the food is made with love and the staff are incredible! I am especially excited that they have introduced "Music Camp" this year to the roster....both my girls are beyond excited about learning to play either Guitar or Ukulele AND have the option to take voice lessons...AND still be able to take in the outdoor activities as well! Besides the camps that are available, we hosted the twins 8th Birthday Party in May 2012 and the kids had a blast! I love how versatile they are...... you can plan pretty much anything that you wish including horse back riding and trail rides. If you are thinking about sending your kids to experience camp this year, I highly recommend Frontier Trails. There are not too many camps out there that allow you to hand select your program to suit your child. Two Thumbs Up! :)

The meals are not very good depending what you eat and the dorm are'nt clean they have poop musquitos and spider fell on youre head when you sleep

I have had the great fortune to be both a camper. a staff member and the parent of a camper over the past 36 years of business. The experiences I grew up with as a camper will be cherished forever, I still talk to some of my fellow campers. My time spent working at the camp was a true growing experience and taught me the value of a good honest days work. Then watching my oldest daughter attend the same camp I grew up at was truly a blessing. This camp has stood the test of time. I can not wait for my younger two to get their chance to experience what I consider a little piece of heaven. As a non-denominational camp that teaches kids basic values and positive messages, I was excited for my daughter to be in this type of environment. As for the family that has been so wonderful to me throughtout my years with FTC, thank you and please keep up the great work. Waterfront, horsemanship, home cooked meals, camp fires, experiencing nature, outdoor activities and so much more. A true camp experience (leaving the technology and city life behind), and staff that you will remember for years to come. This is something that every child should experience.

My kids have attended here for many years and love it! Friendly staff, nice horses, and the meals are always home cooked and delicious! Highly recommended.
