Golden Fries Chip Wagon

Glad we checked this place out. They have a bunch of different options, even for vegans or dairy sensitive people. I had the vegan poutine and it was delicious, honestly couldn't tell the cheese wasn't real cheese. Also the gravy was good. Service was good too, fries were fresh. I have no complaints!

Hands down THE BEST sweet potato fries I've ever had! I'm a big fan of sweet potato fries, but these were beyond delicious! Perfectly seasoned, evenly crispy and they come with a delicious spicy mayo. It's a must try, if you stop at Golden Fries. Vegetarian options: Poutine, fries and some sides

I got the poutine, Big Max poutine, whistle dog and chicken parm sandwich. Definitely satisfied the craving for chip truck food! Great fries and gravy too.

Today was my first time trying the 1/3lb burger from Golden Fries. Only because, truthfully, everytime I've gone with the intention of getting the burger, I end up getting the poutine because it's sooo hard to pass up. But today I did it! And it did. Not. Disappoint. Super delicious I ordered it with the works, and not 'heavy' in my belly afterwards, the way some burgers can be. Will definitely be ordering again soon!

finally found the good fish ‘n chips in Ottawa ! Lovely piece of fish prepared to perfection. Just the right amount of golden batter to compliment the flaky filet inside. Crispy and not even a little greasy - just like the delicious fries. My only complaint … too many fries - I couldn’t eat them all ! Easy-peasy on-line ordering process and my order was ready right on time. Served up by friendly staff doing a great job to feed the hordes who already know about this place ! I’ll be back … I think the chicken parm sandwich will be next

Well since we live here now - we gotta try the famous Golden Fries right? Officially open for the season, we stopped by Sunday afternoon for a little mid-shopping treat. Located in the parking lot of Metro - there was a ton of free spots even with most of the parking lot still covered in ice. *Crispy fries *lighter coloured but thick gravy *they pack it in - so much poutine in even just our regular sized we shared! *is there such thing as TOO many curds? I felt like I wanted more fries, but that’s just my personal preference - most people would be over the moon at just how many curds were jammed into this poutine! Two pogos, a canned drink, and a regular poutine cost about $17 plus we tipped on top of that. They accept cash, credit & debit. No where to sit but in the car right now, but that may be different once it’s no longer winter ; Their menu is pretty extensive so we will be back to try something else, just this time we had to go classic! #poutinekings

My favorite poutine place in Orleans. Generous portions with a perfect amount of cheese, gravy, and toppings. Friendly staff. And most importantly this chip stand doesn't give me an upset stomach afterwards.

OMG the poutine is a family size and talk about heavy wow they do not skimp on the cheese! It was delicious. Then the chicken parm burger, you NEED this in your life, I am speechless, it was amazing, it could have used a bit more sauce but other then that it was perfection.
