I went on an overnight hiking trip to the Golden Ears Mountain's top. It's more fun with friends and it was a challenging experience! Best to do it when you have gone to the gym for a while. Because when you are carrying camping gear + your clothes + food it takes huge amounts of energy and your muscles get exhausted. This experience is a must for any outdoors bragging rights!

What a wonderful place spent time and take the nature in. Loved every minute I have spent here. There are lots of great locations to camp. Many tracking paths. There is also a caravan park. It is a great weekend destination that you will newer get bored off.

Great park with lots of choices for hikers. The easy one is Lower Falls (Gold Creek) and that should take an average person less than 2 hours roundtrip. It is recommended that you bring your swimming gear and go for a dip (during summer that is) so the expected stay time is maybe half a day there.

👍 Better than Lynn Valley in North Vancouver in my opinion. West canyon trail is better for a more challenging hike. Alder flats is awesome but the river dries up in mid summer. You can still see the glaciers. Still amazing and if you go up the river you'll find water 💦

Went there for two nights of camping with family and friends. Great site, clean. Rangers were helpful and friendly. Toilets rudimentary - as expected - but clean. Stayed in the "dogwood" area and had a great time. Firewood at $10 a bundle was a little expensive (can be obtained at $5 just outside from the residents) but was good quality, dry, and had a good mix of big logs and kindling. Also rented a canoe and kayak for a party of five people at the day area at Alouette Lake and service was fine. Overall a great experience.
