The ACT is the home for culture and live entertainment in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows.

Story

We are a non-profit public resource serving the artistic and cultural needs of the diverse audiences in our community, operated by the Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Arts Council.

We offer:

A 486 seat theatre
A 120 seat studio theatre
An art gallery
Arts programs and classes for all ages
Free public community events
Rental space for community events and private functions

Lovely theater. I couldn't believe how good the sets were. Great production value. They had a nice little art gallery upstairs. I will put the ACT theater on my radar to check for future shows
We went to see a CCR tribute band “Bad Moon Riders “ at the Act. Parking was easy as it was underground and free as it was the weekend. The stairwell was close by and led us right up to the lobby. Great evening in the theatre. The seats were comfortable and the theatre allowed drinks inside.
The ACT is an incredible resource for the community and culture hub for the region. We are lucky to have such a great facility and dedicated art council in Maple Ridge & Pitt Meadows. The Act supports the arts through numerous scholarships and bursaries to local people and groups. The quality of work coming through the arts learning programs, theatre performances and gallery are top notch.
Our band, Maple Ridge Concert Band, played on the front steps as there was a TV Show shoot happening on the bandstand.
The Act Arts Centre has such a beautiful theatre. Seats are comfortable, views are great from all seats and it is clean and well maintained.nPhotos taken from the very back row of the lower level during a wonderful show called Relive The Music - 50's & 60's
