Golden Ears Family Practice

Had a bit of an emergency today that required a prescription to be refilled. Dr. Fetaz refused to speak with me over the phone and I was told I would have to come in for an appointment to fill the prescription. I have been seeing this woman for most of my life, she knows my medical history and knows what will happen if I do not have my medication. Even so, I was told that it is not the clinics responsibility to manage my medication and I will have to figure things out on my own as there are no appointments available until after my prescription runs out. It's 2022, I don't understand why a telehealth phone conversation that literally takes 10 minutes couldn't have been arranged for this situation. This is not the first time I have felt that this clinic and doctor did not care about my health.

Even the one star rating that I gave is too high for the conversation I just had. I simply was asking about a new doctor for my father. He's 87yrs old with his old doctor retiring. I stated that he's having problems with cold sweats and feeling like he's going to faint. I stated that I'm really worried and would like find him a new doctor or even just a one time visit to see if his medications or something just needs to be adjusted. I was told that their not accepting patients and nothing they could do and then she just hung up on me. This is a number that I got from my father's old clinic. Worst public relation skills I've ever dealt with when I'm asking for help for an 87 year old man.

I just had a baby and the dr. Lady saw him at 4 days then said see you in 6 weeks. New born babys should and NEED be seen every week for the first 6 weeks. This dr. Has thrown us under the bus to fend for ourselves. Very disappointed how we have been treated and my new born baby! Glad I have found a new GP!!!

Best medical practitioners around. Great staff. Friendly and helpful.

Dr. Luitingh is very mild mannered and polite. She very clearly cares about her patients. Having been passed around from doctor to doctor it was great to end up with Dr. Luitingh. She always answers all my questions. Her staff is excellent as well, very friendly over the phones and willing to work with my difficult schedule.
