Golden Court Abalone Restaurant

Terrible experience. My family and I waited for over an hour and a half for a table. The hostess needs to learn how to do her job and seat people who’s been waiting in line, have a number, and not just those who walk in and “claim” a table. There were multiple groups our size that walked in well after us and got seated right away....?!?! It wasn’t until we followed up multiple times that we actually got a table. Will not be coming back. Food was “ok” and came out fast but the hostess experience really left a sour taste for the meal.

Fairly good food, but service is terrible! I waited 45+ minutes for a table on a Sunday afternoon. Several people who came in after us got seated right away because they were regulars and spoke in the same language. This is not very nice. The woman screamed at me in my face when I asked how much longer our party had to wait, and we ended up leaving. Racist and rude waiters.

Average eats. Nothing special. But if you are nearby and want some dim sum on the weekend you can easily get a seat. Best dish from what we ordered was the durian pastry if you like that flavour

We had the seafood meal for 6. Very satisfied with the quality and portion size of dishes, the lobster was amazing! Top that up with excellent service. One of our preferred Chinese restaurants in Richmond Hill.

Great fresh food, good service. I enjoyed the atmosphere and we were seated quickly on a Thursday morning.
