Golden China Hakka Restaurant

Of the many Hakka- Chinese restaurants that I've eaten at Golden China is at the bottom of the list. Starting off, the customer service there is the worst. There was a mix up with our order, the waitress continued to deny the fact that it was her fault. Instead of coming to a resolution to solve this problem, we engaged in an argument. Hasn't she ever heard" the customer is always right". We ended up paying for the right dish on top of the dish that was mistaken. Though in realization of this incident, I do not think that it was the waitresses fault but rather the quality of the management. The waitress hands were tied, she had to stand firm by what the manager, so she was under pressure from both the sides. overall I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to any of my friends.

Love the Chicken/Beef Hakka Chowmein! Also, if you like hot and sour soup then you should try it. Highly recommended.

Gr8 lunch specials albeit pricing has gone up and no more free pop, settle for free bottled water. Fast service. Never had a bad meal here.

One of the best Hakka joints in the GTA. I’ve tried many other places that just don’t compare. We make a special trip down to Markham from DT Toronto for their yummy food. Always consistent and timely. 👍

This is our favorite Hakka place. Been going there since last 5 years. Must trys are Fried wontons, Chilli chicken, Hot garlic chicken & Bombay shrimp
