Three stars and it is only because the food was really well prepared and delicious. Two starts lost because the service is horrible. Waiting period is too much and they clearly are understaffed. The staff do not even look at you whole you are waiting to place the order or for getting a place to sit. The couches are torn and not maintained. Otherwise looks clean and food is value for money for sure. We have been to the Scarborough location as well but the experience there was much better than this one here at Markham.

We went to dine in for the first time. I tried Chinese food for the first time too. Their chilli chicken and beef rice noodles were amazing and tasty. I liked it very much. They follow the scanning the barcode to see the menu. Thank you very much:

Another one of my favourite Hakka places in Markham. The food is always done just right with the right amount of spice. I ordered the typical Chicken Pakora, Chili Chicken and tried something new in the Singapore Fried Rice. The Chili Chicken dry is always cooked with the right amount of spices and when mixed with steamed rice it complements each other. The Chicken Pakora taste so much better when you squeeze the lemon they provide on it. The Singapore Fried rice is a nice addition of flavour of a fried rice that has chicken and shrimp.

Delicious food; friendly staff; introduced a friend to Hakka cuisine and she loved it as much as we did. Tons of vegetarian options.

Very nice restaurant. Food was great and $33 for 3 vegetarian dishes. Portions were great.

It’s my second time order here. I ordered crispy ginger beef and chicken pakora. Received chili chicken instead of ginger beef. And the chicken pakora is not crispy at all this time. Feels like some unsold leftovers.

We had family dinner on Eid day at Federick , nice restaurant, staff is nice and humble, food portions are quite good in size, we were 8 so ordered variety of dishes, chicken chilli and shrimp pakora, chicken pakora, Manchuria noddles and many other dishes all were good and very reasonable in price as well, recommend for big parties

Update 2022 april . I brought a takeout from this location. Food has always been consistent . The quantity is to the brink . Dine in has been open ...GO now before it get jam packed again. Price has changed everywhere...

It was good food, the service decent as well. I go here a lot and I don't have anything bad to say. I will say this about Hakka food places in general, I don't like how they bring out random dishes at different times. Instead, they should bring out appetizers first, soups, then the main courses. But I've never worked in a Hakka restaurant so I have zero knowledge on what happens in the kitchen. Anyways, I'd recommend this place for some good Hakka food if you're looking in the Markham area.

Very good food and quality. Price is great value. The green beans and chili chicken are the go to dishes. They don’t get five stars because when placing an order by phone during dinner time hours is not usually answered. I blame that on this is a family run business, they should really be more focused on customer service.
