Haidilao Hot Pot Markham

I’ve heard about how good service this hot pot chain provides. When I actually went there, I was still impressed how the service was higher than I expected. The interior was very nice and spacious. At the entrance, I was greeted by a nice receptionist, who led me to the seat, explained to me very detailed where was the bar for the side dishes and where the dessert bar is. She also told me she picked the seat for me as it was close to the side dishes bar. Then the waiter came, spent a decent time helping me with the order on the iPad, brought me the bib, water and fruit to start my lunch. I ordered special lunch combo for one person, you can choose from many different kind of meat such as beef, lamb, pork, chicken etc. and one kind of broth, a big plate of veggie, tofu and egg will be provided. I the side dishes bar and dessert bar are all included. What a deal. All the food is fresh and broth is very tasty. I ordered lamb, it was so yummy. I had a wonderful time in Haidilao and cannot wait to go back very soon with my family.

Haidilao is like the most fun hot pot spot.nnIts not ayce. And average 60-80 per person depending on how much you order. BUT learn a secret code or two to get free items during your visit. You can also learn some DIY soup vase from the sauce bar. Very interactive experience, not just eating.nnThe lines are not as long anymore, but there could still be so wait during rush hours. Service is not as good as before as well. Had to ask for water and soup refill a couple times.

Food is good, not worth the price. 45-50$/per person.nUber expensive. Average assortmentnUber atmosphere. Clean, bright, aestheticnnMy non-Asian friends, if you pride cleanliness, quality and high level service this will be your peanut butter and jam.nadventurous? I've been to haidilao many times and unfortunately this time they just miss the spot for 5 star. Usually they are 5 star all around. But for some reason this time there are thing just missing or made in error. The entrance usually has. Treats and drinks for thos ewho are waiting for some reason today just got water and nothing else. The self serve bar would usually have salsa for their chips but for some reason they put in Thai sweet chili sauce and labelled it wrong. And the desert bar was closed by 8pm which forced ppl who just got in at 730 to eat desert before dinner. Because they were changing it into a veggie bar for ayce ppl. These little things are what made the experience not quite perfect as it usually is. But I would still recommend people to try it and hopefully this is just a one night issue and not the trend from now on. Cause service and food quality is the trump card of this restaurant

Came to celebrate a birthday and Sabrina and Darcy were amazing hosts and servers. They were very attentive and made for a great dinner. So glad we came here to celebrate. We even got to see the Face Changing performance that happens daily at 7pm! Can't wait till the next time we go back.
