Golden Breakfast Buffet

Too bad they closed.They had a great Canadian style buffet.

We decided to go here for Brunch and weren't let down! For the price it's pretty good. The decor isn't amazing, but the staff are friendly and it's a very comfortable place. I gave it 4 stars because it did lack a good variety. An omlette and waffle bar would be a good addition.

I tried going here today. Notice on the door says there closed up in September due to kitchen repairs.

Business hours reduced to weekends and holidays. Seating is nice. Offering breakfast buffet only, with some lunch items, like curry and veggies. I liked the little croissants, all the treats and fruits, but most of the buffet items were bland and cardboardy​. Sausages seem to contain loads of salt. Owner yells at cook on occasion for things he does right. Coffee flowed very slowly. They provide free WiFi, but didn't know the password. I noticed some gross customers in there, of which some left a lot of food behind on the floor. It got cleaned up tho. I ended up paying 14 bucks for buffet and coffee. They do not have decaf drip. Definitely not worth it, considering the other breakfast opportunities around, at a lower price.

This place has a very good buffet lineup with a surprisingly affordable price tag. On weekdays the buffet is 6.99/person and it is 8.99/person on weekends. The staff was super nice. The roast beef is HALAL and it was super delicious. We also liked their french toast as well. We would definitely come here again when we visit Orillia the next time.
