Gold Bin The

I brought in a silver necklace with a broken clasp and a silver ring with a broken claw. The necklace was fixed that day in the store. As for the ring, I was told it would be cheaper just to buy a new ring, but he saw that both pieces had sentimental value to me. So he decided to use a very strong metal glue so I could still wear it. Pick up was the next day. The service here is wonderful and you can tell that the owners really love what they do. If you're looking for something special for someone, go here! They have a great selection with varying prices, so you will definitely find something great!

Horrible experience, I wanted screw backs placed on to my diamond studs so that I would decrease my chances of losing my earrings. So I called around and The Gold Bin was the cheapest I could find to do it. They quoted me $85 and said it would take about a week to have it done. I asked if it would be any more than the quoted price, and the owner told me " Their quotes are never more than what was initially promised, and if anything they could end up being less". So I agreed, and gave him my set of diamond studs. A week later I go to pick my earrings up. Once there...the lady tells me they will be around $136 + tax!!! I argued with the lady and told her that this was not what I was promised, so she asked if I come back in 45 min so that she could call her husband and discuss the matter with him. Once I came back, the lady told me that he figured I would know that it would be extra on top of the $85 and that because of the confusion they would let me pay a flat rate of $116. I told her I would pay it but not be back ever, and she asked what I could do to make it fair and I said charge me the $85 + tax and nothing more, and I was able to get her to come down to $103. Had she not dropped the price and been so apologetic, I would have rated this place a 1. Still not going back, and I would advise potential customers to ask for the "FULL quote" when having any work done by them!

Good price for fixing my jewelry only downside is it took 2 weeks as they had to send it away.
