Global Pet Foods Halifax

Staff is always very friendly and was particularly helpful on our last visit when the food we usually buy was out of stock. The place is clean and well-kept, always looks cared-for. Global carries good quality, healthy pet food, some of which we rarely find elsewhere. Bonus: Their store cat, Pandora, is a sweetie and sometimes even accompanies you around through the aisles. :)

Wonderful selection of food including fresh frozen, high end natural ingredients. I would say food is their strong suit. And, customer service is not, unless you're a friend. I had to wait to pay, with my arms full and a bum knee, for way too long, while the one cashier spoke with one individual who was paying and the other register was closed but the staff guy behind it laughed it up with friends. Prices are average to high.

The product variety is great. There are many great brand names for those of us who like to purchase high quality pet food. The customer service leaves much to be desired. Staff are not friendly or welcoming but unfortunately the only other location which carries our preferred dog food is the Global Pet Foods in Dartmouth (where staff are wonderful!) which is too far to drive when you live in the Timberlea/Tantallon area.
