Truly beautiful location; there are benches and gazebos along the creek to enjoy the idyllic landscape. The grounds are very well kept, and the distillery tours are fantastic. Room was simple and certainly not luxurious, but the restaurant food was very good, and live entertainment made for a very enjoyable stay.

Nice spot but tourist trap on prices. The tour is very interesting so it's worth a stop in

My wife and I were travelling the Cabot Trail and noticed the sign by the road for Glenora Inn & Distillery. We recognized the name from a documentary we had seen awhile back. We were pulling a 5th wheel, and wasn't sure I could get in and out of the parking area which was at the end of a rather long driveway. Fortunately there is a large pullover area on the road side. We walked the driveway. Our interest was in having a tour of the distillery which are run every hour on the hour for $7 a person. The tour lasts about 40 minutes and ends with a tasting of some 10 year old single malt whisky. Very nice! All in all a very nice experience. I'm glad we stopped.

Absolutely stunning location and building, but the service at the pub was horrible. My boyfriend and I went in to do a whisky tasting and we were ignored the entire time (had to flag down a server and ask them for a menu, for water, to order, and for the bill). I felt that we may have been profiled because we are younger and not eating a full meal. We were hoping to get a little intro or description to the whiskeys, but they just plopped down the flight and told us to refer to our menus when we asked for more info. Ended up going on their website to learn about the whiskeys, which didn't have all of them listed. Beautiful spot, unfortunate experience.

No complaints. Turned out to be a fun and informative tour. Scenery around property is nice. Not pretentious. Urg, I'll just say it: this place isn't cheap, but it is worth it if you want it to be. Spent one night, had some drinks and dinner in their pub. I wouldn't go back, but I would tell an anyone who enjoys whisky to check the place out of they're in the neighborhood.
