Surprisingly better experience than my last extremely bad experience. Totally depends on the Dr, if you got a good Dr good for you, you'll get better. But if you got a Dr. thats unconcerned or insincere to his/her job, then your loss. How sad is that.
I have been seeing Danielle for physio for awhile now and have nothing but great things to say! I have a history of neck and shoulder issues and have seen 100+ people in all areas including physio, chiro, massage, accunpuncture, cupping, specialists, etc.. I was at the point of losing hope of relief until I seen Danielle. When I met her she knew of what I was feeling and could relate to my injuries. The first treatment was the first time I felt any relief. Although I may never be the same as before, I can comfortably say every visit is better and better and I can comfortably feel relief and feel normal again. I highly recommend her and always will to anyone I talk to!
Friendly office staff and Dr. Markovitch is a very helpful and caring physician. She explained things clearly and gave me suggestions to help deal with my injury.
Katherine is amazing! She's very knowledgeable and gives real expectations. Her calm yet assertive manner makes me feel confidence in her suggestions.
I'm no doctor. Except on the internet; but the last time going to the clinic I had major issue with my left shoulder. My shoulder blade has seperate farther away from my back and a wing like shape on my back but only one left side. My left shoulder is weak from five dislocations which makes my arm concave onto the side of my body instead of sticking outwards as it should. The staff was all great except the doctor told me I would need surgery to fix it. He said I was too old to have the surgery..... I was 30 at the time. He had two interns with him and they did my seem to be on the same page as the specialist. Mmmm 30 isn't old for that surgery from what I've been told by other doctors I've spoken with the 4 years that it has been. FYI I love interns being included, they get to learn but they should be encouraged to give their own diagnosis. Anyways, I'm going back now to see another specialist. Second opinions are always good. And I'll get it from Glen Sather again and I want to try put Dr Xu. I've heard he is sturn, direct but extremely knowledgeable. All In all. Great experience.
Dr Tulis began seeing me about a year ago for chronic pain. Not only has he exceeded initial expectations he has gone above and beyond to continue to follow up with me to make sure I am feeling good. I am motivated to continue my path being pain-free, and know those grueling days of physio/exercise are worth it because I have such a caring, knowledgeable Doctor supporting me every step of the way! We need more doctors out there like Dr. Tulis!
I have been a patient of Steve D's for about 2 years now. I was so happy with his massage therapy skills, that I followed him from his previous workplace to the Glen Sather Clinic With my extensive treatments for head and neck cancer during my childhood, I deal with long term side effects now...mainly, radiation fibrosis in the neck. Steve is excellent with providing back and neck relief, but especially in the shoulders. I have tried out many different massage therapists for deep tissue massages out of province. It has been very frustrating. I was never thrilled with what they could offer for me. Go and see Steve today! Money well worth it. He is highly skilled and I couldn't be happier with him. Great guy and therapist.
I went and saw a doc there, won't say name cause that's the way I roll, my toes are paralyzed but I can wiggle my big toe slightly, and they are sore, all she did was poke and prod my toes, try to sell me gel pads that I know won't help and gave me a blood work sheet which I got done and never heard anything again, that was June 14 2022 it's July 4 now and I need my feet fixed cause I need to get back to work, I'm a pipe fitter and going to lose everything if I can't get fixed,
Dr. James Xu Worst dr. I’ve ever seen. Extremely demeaning and belittling, spoke to me in a manner that I was mentally challenged. Never in my life was I spoken to in that manner by a doctor. So disappointing.
I was referred to Glen Sather clinic by my family doctor. My initial is scheduled mid September and the appointment is for October 9th. I get a call telling me that I've been rescheduled October 29th at 10:00 I make note of this but receive no confirmation email/instructions like I initially did, so the day of the appointment I call and verify but I'm told my appointment is "Tuesday at 10 am". Again, I recieve no confirmation/email/phone call. So with such late notice, I am required to use vacation time with work to be able to make it. I show up for my appointment at 945 and I'm told I missed my appointment on Friday and I can rebook for November 26th. It's interesting the clinic can charge people for missing an appointment. Is anyone going to quantify the effort and vacation time I used? I'm not administrative assistant, but is there really no appointment confirmation process in effect? For such a "high volume clinic" this is unbelievable. But at least I was offered another appointment a month from now.
