As others have also experienced, I’ve been here many, many years ago and was underwhelmed. Well it’s basically a completely different restaurant now and it’s actually very good. Excellent dinner menu, beautiful space, great service, and apparently they have trivia night every Thursday! I thoroughly enjoyed the broccoli appetizer, as well as the cauliflower one, and the salmon with risotto cake was perfect. The atmosphere is lovely, given it’s a “glass house” and you get a fantastic view of the sunset from every seat in the house! Definitely recommend! And I think the could handle larger group quite well, given the space.
I would like to thank the incredible staff at the Glasshouse for the most enjoyable, well presented Sunday brunch. Fresh quality ingredients are lovingly nurtured by Chef Brett in ways that only compliment the dish. This is a must if you would like a gourmet dining experience, fabulous friendly atmosphere at a price that is a true bargain. I would also like to give a shoutout to not only Chef Brett and Chef Archie but also to Chris, Bryce and Jesse!! and on clean up... Eric.
We booked the Glasshouse Kitchen and Bar for a private event. From the initial inquiry, to planning, to the event, everything went smoothly. We are from out of town, so planning an event when you are not on site is often difficult. The event organizer, glasshouse manager, and the event staff were all amazing and helped us put on an wonderful evening for family and friends. The food was outstanding, service was impeccable…and the venue was beautiful. We had a perfect evening and it was made even better by knowing we did not need to worry about any of the details. Would definitely recommend Glasshouse Kitchen and Bar.
The food here is really good! I had the bison burger and the perogies, would recommend. There servers were nice but quite slow in between check-ins. Quality control could use some work as there was a hair in the sweet potato fries. Overall 3/5 experience.
We are so happy to have chosen Glasshouse Kitchen and Bar for our wedding ceremony and reception! The venue was beautiful, the food was amazing, and the staff were extremely friendly. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a local venue with a modern greenhouse feel and local fresh tasting food.
Went to the café as the wait was long for the restaurant. Cappuccino was good. Cinnamon bun was delicious. Muffin was good. Feta spinach pastry wasn't cooked and raw. We tried to take it back and the server told us it's supposed to be raw. Apparently pastry can be served sashimi style???
We came for the brunch menu and it did not disappoint. My friend has been wanting to take me for a while as he always raves about the smoked salmon eggs Benedict. The plates were designed beautifully and so colorful. The peach mimosas were fabulous. Could have drank those all day! Our waitress Amber was super friendly as well! Definitely want to go back to try more of the menu!
Beautiful spot! Delicious food. They lost our reservation though, which is confusing because multiple calls happened between us due to the size of our party. But they made it up to us with free champagne and the service was great.Food: 5/5
A delightful afternoon sharing drinks & apps with friends. Our server Georgia was delightful & attentive, looking after us very well. The receipt said to leave a review with little direction. It would be nice if we could review directly on the website tho undoubtedly this will be seen by more people.
We came to the glasshouse for the first time tonight and were very impressed. Our server Shelby had wonderful recommendations , the oysters she suggested blew our expectations out of the water. She had a great knowledge of the menu to help us decide what to order and we loved all of the food we had. She had a very pleasant attitude and the live music added to a wonderful atmosphere. We will 100% come have dinner again as the service we received was outstanding and the food was top tier. We give our compliments to chef Doreen! Great addition to the St.Albert dinning experience.
