Both my partner and I were impressed by the knowledge, patience, friendliness of the staff. I had the pleasure of being helped by the owner of the store, who made sure that I had tried enough frames before picking the right frames! The frames and lenses we picked have been getting compliments from the get go. I would 100% recommend Glass Monocle Eyecare for picking your next sunglasses or eyeglasses in Toronto! Such an amazing experience at Glass Monocle Eyecare. I came here for the first time to update my prescription and get new glasses. They are customer-oriented, make you feel confortable and help you choose the glasses that will fit your budget, style and face! Very friendly staff, huge thank you to Haniel, Andrew and Natalia for welcoming me. They even offered me the blue screen protection for my new glasses which was 50$ I paid... 0 dollars in the end. 200$ was covered by my work insurance and I used 200$ Groupon promo. Can't wait to pick up my new glasses in 2 weeks!

This is THE best store in the city Annex! They have a great selection of CURRENT eyewear, both sunglasses and reading glasses. My husband and I have bought a few pairs from Glass Monocle and have always received high quality customer service. The entire team is professional, well trained and treats a customer as they should be treated. My latest frames, vintage gold rimmed Tom Ford are absolutely beautiful! The detail is exceptional... And for Tom Ford, the price was very reasonable. Thank you Glass Monocle!

Great experience at this store. I was helped by Andrew and he made the process easy. He asked me my price range so I wouldn’t fall in love with a pair that was out of budget. He knew the inventory in the store and was able to quickly pull out pairs that looked good on me. I don’t think I spent more than 10 minutes trying on pairs before finding “the one”. I will definitely return here when I’m ready for my next pair of glasses!

Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. I went in there today to get my glasses tighten. The lady who helped me took over 10 minutes which was unusually, considering it’s a relatively quick process of a few minutes. Even more, when the lady handed my glasses back to me, they were looser than before. Concerned she would ruin the glasses, I informed her they were fine and then proceeded to another eyeglasses shop to get them fixed. Although, the lady was nice, she does not seem to know what she is doing. I would strongly suggest she receive further training as she is currently a major risk for people’s glasses and eyesight. I wish I had never gone here today.

Came here to have an eye exam and a new pair of glasses. Mia provided exceptional service when it came to suggestions and ideas. She knows her products well and gave me all the possible options when it came to frames, lenses etc. Not only did I select a pair of regular glasses but also walked out with another pair of sunglasses. Matt also made the eye exam really enjoyable with lots of laughs. When it came to any questions I had in regards to my prescription or overall health, he made it clear for me to understand and had me walking out feeling confident and relieved. Will definitely come back again in the future for my next pair. :

Been coming here for a few years now. Always happy with the level of care and attention that the team provide. The optometrist was knowledgeable, professional and attentive, making sure that I felt comfortable and understood everything that was happening. I can not say enough about how awesome the Glass Monocle staff on Bloor is. I have a wide nose and wear hearing aids which can make finding a pair of glasses that do not sit super high a big challenge. Two staff members Mia and Kinnard, were incredibly patient and spent well over two hours with me finding the right pair. They were so enthusiastic and we ended up finding a pair that I am very happy with. The examine went really well and everyone there seemed to really enjoy their job. This place is a pleasure and I highly recommend.

I had a pair of glasses that were very bent out of shape and needed repair badly. I walked into Glass Monocle Eyecare and was greeted by a friendly worker named Mia. Mia was more than happy to assist me with my pair of glasses and fixed them right on the spot without any issue. I will definitely visit Glass Monocle Eyecare for my next pair of glasses solely based on the customer service I experienced!
