Would be a 5 star....Great food BUT they DO NOT accept credit or debit cards. It's the 21st century. At least offer an ATM on the premises for out of state customers who don't carry cash. I bet they would make more money if they accepted credit and debit cards?
Amazing! A Rutland staple
They are a top notch deli. Everywhere l go people know Gills. There help have been there for as long as l can remember. It’s got to be a great place to work the help are so very pleasant and good at what they do. It always busy and super fresh. It’s the best deli every.
Great subs and fast. They have a very efficient set up and can plow through a long line fast. Everyone was very friendly. The cookies are homemade and tasty. It is cash only though, so be prepared!
Always good food made with generous portions. Glad they continue to expand to provide more to customers, easier parking, quicker service and no "sorry, we're out of that". Doing a good job with covid protocols.
Everyone goes here. Seriously everyone. Nothing beats gills! They have never messed up my order ever!
The crab meat was pretty good overall. The bread wasn't as good as it has been in years past. Decent sandwich place overall. Learned that you can ask to have your sandwiches hot/toasted. Would be good to have this advertised more as I think that would've helped with quality overall. 7/10
They are wonderful. I feel they take the appropriate precautions during this pandemic. They also have a book at checkout for contact tracing.
