Best sub shop in the area, doesn't skimp. Very accommodating to gluten/dairy intolerances. Amazing staff, helpful, delicious menu even though you'll want to get the same thing every trip!
Maxies is our favorite sandwich shop. Their wraps, subs, salads and sandwiches out do every other place in Rutland. They load everything up. It’s super fresh and their selection is crazy. Always recommend their harvest salad or buffalo chicken sub or a veggie wrap!
The absolute best sandwich I’ve ever had. No other place compares. Have driven 2 hrs before just for this place, it’s that good.
I dont eat here much. Honestly dont like there food. They never have what I want. My husband eats here and his subs are always big and full of meat. So they definitely dont skimp on meat in there subs.
This place is the worst restaurant. They threw the sandwich at my sister when she went to pick it up and made my sandwich wrong. Not only that. When I called them. They were very rude to me on the phone. And they all stuck up for the employees while this is going on. This is ridiculous!!!!!
after 20years of going to get subs for me and my family. got a roast beef sub today that was possible the poorest sub I have ever experienced. will try again because of past performance hope things will be better as I have always had good luck
Twice I've called in a meatball sub for pickup and both times have walked in and they hadn't even started on it. Bad service and generally lazy vibe from the employees.
I've been going to Maxies for 30+ years. After Maxies passing I figured the new owners would start to skimp. Nope. After a couple of years of business they have carried on in the old Italian tradition great food and sandwiches with huge portions and daily specials.
The bread for the subs is delicious and high quality, but something about watching your meatballs get microwaved on a plastic plate and dumped into your sub is less than appetizing.
