Beautiful little lake that is connected to 4 lakes. Had some good bites fishing from my kayak, got a tiger trout up to the side and it flipped off! Low bank access and a nice boat launch and swim area.
We had the most amazing time! I would recommend it for sure. Walks, fishing, swimming, a place to rent paddle boards, canoes, etc. On top of that the management team was so friendly, always wave hello, was never to busy to say a quick hi and talk for a min or answer questions. The campers the 9 days we were there changed a couple times but everyone was really nice and respectful. Very safe feeling and extremely welcoming. We had camp sight 4 which was perfect for us. I took some pics of the camp sight as well while I was there.
A great camping spot, wonderful hiking trails and swimming
I hosted a geocaching event 6/19/22 at the campground and had a fantastic time! The campground is very nice, enjoyed the wildlife and the camp host went over the top by giving helpful information! That's the best experience we've had with a camp host and he should be welcomed back or at future hosting sites!
Cool chain lakes to boat on. A little small for big boats
I love this camp ground. I've been camping here many times over the last 35 years and it is always great. This one is close to hiking, biking trails and to the water within walking distance. The vault bathrooms are kept clean. It is totally dry camping. No hookups. There are no showers and there is no dump station. There us a resort across the lake that has everything you may need. The lake is clean. Deer meander through daily and there are chipmunks, squirrels, humming birds, and many other birds. There were 3 bear sightings while we were there this weekend but we didn't see them.
Great campground fairly close to neighbors. Have to walk a bit to get to water. Trails connected to NW corner
This campground is not on the lake. It is across the road from Gilette Lake Campground but within walking distance. Nice campground but not a lot of privacy between spots and not directly on the water.
No hookups at these sites. If you like space between you and the "neighbors", this is for you! Sites have picnic tables, a fire pit and LOTS of room! Most sites are first come first serve; however, a couple are now able to be reserved.
Great campground with some double sites with plenty of room for several tents.
