Pretty falls! Can't get very close but I guess that preserves it beauty. Just know it costs to go there or you need a pass. Dogs are welcome on a leash, I brought my kitty!!

Hung out here for a day with my fiancee during our recent July 4th vacation, good spot to cool off during the day. Then we drove around to see what the campsites were like and unfortunately none of them are near the creek. Then a troll smoking a cigarette who is apprently the camp manager, emerged from her hole to tell us "pot and beer were ok, but alcohol was not allowed. And if you want to walk around with a beer put it in a pop can." We were considering camping, but after hearing that and seeing people at the waterfall with open beers we went to Lake Roosevelt so we could be right on the water and get away from the nonsense that comes with alcoholism.

A great but primitive campground. Twenty or so cold campsites straddling Mill Creek. Out houses and water available. Easy access to Douglas Falls (it's really a cascade) with well maintained trails and a foot bridge. A picnic area and play field. Lots of wildlife. 5 stars if it had hook-ups.
