Clean store with a good selection of clothing for adults and children. They have a good grocery section that often has excellent weekly deals on a couple of items. They also have cute housewares seasonally. Staff are friendly and helpful.
They’re prices are good! I wasn’t too happy with my customer service. The cashier was checking my bills like if it was fake, I then asked her, if they were hit with any fraudulent bills lately. She told me no, I just don’t want to be the first one. Totally understandable but, It doesn’t look professionally to questioned someone bills. Won’t be coming back. I’ll stick the location by Main Street.
Went to return something today called before coming asked the lady I said I have an item I would like to return with tags but no receipt she said sure no problem bring it in. I then show up to the store the lady says it has to be a store credit which no problem I understand that, then she goes to give me the store credit with $6 the item costed me $14 I will no longer be shopping at giant tiger I rather of donated the item then to even bother to waste the gas and my time to return it. She said that’s because it’s a franchise. Never again will you get my money that’s such a scam as a business. Actually disgusted will be telling others of my experience so they won’t shop here either I rather go to Walmart from now on.
The lady at cashier don't know how to treat customers, she didn't ask for bag and started attending next person and gave me my stuff in my hands. Also, if we asked the price of one thing she rudely said go and check back.
Horrible customer service. They tagged an item wrong when I got to the cash register and noticed it came up wrong they called a sale associate to check the price I showed her the picture of the price marked on the item she started yelling at me and being extremely rude. Theg also did not honour the marked price I left the store without purchasing anything horrible experience.
Great customer service. Alot of sales. Amazing collections of night wears and PJ. Little grocery department. Price on point. Trust me this store won't disappoint you.

So, I was looking at the Previous Pictures of this Place. And was amazed by the Prices. Turns out... The Pictures were probably taken by someone who works there. You might want to get the Lens checked on it... Because when I tried to Zoom into the Picture, I couldn't see much of the Items. Or was one of the first 10 People in there on Grand Opening day. Which was November 4, 2017. Because... When I went... 1-3 Pm. December, 21, Thursday, 2017. It was... HECTIC! I was SO *DISAPPOINTED* When I FINALLY got out of there. I felt like I WASTED MY TIME, Where I went after.... I told my friend; "I'm SO angry, Pissed off and just want to cry." Here are My TOP 5 REASONS NOT TO GO TO THIS ONE!!. Or at least in December. 1. PRICES! The Sign in the middle of the Round Racks said $12.00 BUT! The Prices were a REALLY DIFFERENT PRICE!. With the Red and White Lingerie/Santa Style Bra and Underwear/Garter Belt, Some were $10.00, $24.99, $12.99. So that PISSED ME OFF VERY MUCH!! And very UNORGANIZED!!. 2. With the Pictures I saw, They, did? Have The Liquorice and Wine Gum Tower Boxes for $2.00. *Update: Friday, Jan, 5, 2018. 6:00 Pm. -It seems that the Signs in the Picture look overlapped and made an Illusion. So it was/Is $5.00.* I only saw Wine Gum Boxes. Wine Gums are Kind of like a semi hard jujube. NO LIQUORICE BOXES! At the VERY FRONT Where it's INACCESSIBLE TO A Cart and... Just REALLY hard to get to after you see them. -Because of all of the OTHER Metal Basket Tables around. 3. I went there to see if they had Skull And Crossbones Pants that I saw in the Picture. Which was TOO BLURRY TO SEE IT EXACTLY. But I think it was Boxers. Which is now on a Metal Wall Shelf. To my surprise though, I came across a Christmas Version of Skulls... Holly, Presents and more printing/Images Fleece Pajama pants. Mens, Which I was looking for a Friend of mine. BUT! The REAL reason for NUMBER 3.... S-I-Z-E-S!! NO SIZE 3 XL and UP!!. There was only a Medium and an XL. So I looked at the Shirts... NO 3X+ THERE ALSO! Only a MASSIVE Leftover of Mediums. I was SO PISSED AT THAT POINT. So I saw a top for someone else. But it was $12.97!! That Price for a THIN, See Thru long sleeve top. I had only $25.00. So it was hard to manage and depressing to know I couldn't buy it. Because I needed to keep an amount for emergency situations. ... It won't let me write more. Dang. Overall, Bad Experience.
I was at the cash ready to pay then the cashier girl asked me if I would like to donate for sick kids I reply yes just $2. I don't even know how much she did but it was 60 Dlls for a few groceries. I asked to give me the receipt then she replied I put in in the bag. I was with my child..so I trusted. when I got home there was not receipt from my purchase anywhere. I wonder why she didn't give me my receipt. I am very disappointed for this disrespectful and dishonest employer.
Cheap deals at Giant Tiger when you can get a sale like $0.97 for a head of lettuce in summer 2022. BUT, when it comes to the grocery produce, about 1/3 of their produce has gone bad. There was a whole table of lettuces sitting at room temperature not refrigerated and you could see that 85-90% of them were going bad. Please work on keeping your produce fresh and refrigerating necessary produce items
