We Stoped into This Giant Tiger located at The Simcoe Town Mall . It's another Average Giant Tiger. Lots of Deals Each Week. Store is Well Stocked and is Clean . Staff are Friendly and Very Polite. Lots of Parking Outside

Please beware this store sucks and some employees are rude and racist. Avoid shopping here if you are a person of color.nnI used the self checkout and my card’s tap function wasn’t working. I had to insert my card and use my pin for the transaction but not before the lady standing “guard” loudly called me out and said “maybe your account doesn’t have enough funds”. It was literally two seconds, didn’t even give me a chance to try to swipe or insert my card just went straight to assuming I can’t pay. I don’t think that is an appropriate thing to say to a stranger AND a customer at all and I feel so disrespected and offended that she did not only assume I’m too poor, she practically announced it out loud for the whole room to hear. I doubt she would have done that if I was white.

Went into the store tonight to grab the Halloween chocolate that was on sale btw sale just started yesterday I couldn’t locate so asked a young kid working, he said I’ll get you some from the back. Comes back with 3 boxes as I requested when another staff member working on the floor ran at him and said no, those are for us staff that are working till the end of the nightnI was flabbergasted, I know staff are technically customers too but to literally state that in-front of an active customer in your store looking for your flyer productnI was actually thoroughly disgusted in how this lady acted and felt terrible for the young guy that was trying to help menI have a different view of this store nownThis in my opinion was POOR customer service from the lady that intervened

i did not like it here, it was very dirty, employees was fighting and they was pulling each others hair. i did not like it here it was very very VERY V E R Y messy but if yall wanna see a fight come here yall. weird vibes tho the mall was dead no people only couple stores but did not like it they were rude to me and my friends n family. thank you

Had a wee argument with a cashier about lotto. I've worked lotto and know the rules,but she was adamant she was right. I went here for a lot of our buisness needs, went 2 to 3 times per week. We have since started shopping the brantford location when we do our costco runs.
