Giant Tiger

Purchased helium balloons at 4PM, they hardly lasted the evening after a staff helping choose the ‘right’ ones to last a few days. Early this morning they’re all on the floor.nnSaid sometimes people buy something to put in the balloons to make them last longer? Guess I learned a thing but also wondering why that wasn’t part of the talk yesterday.nnCalled to ask for a refund, was told repeatedly that ‘they must have been latex’, ‘they only last 4-12 hours’ and that ‘we have like 15 signs in the party shop, we don’t ask people when they need their balloons for’ even though this was covered in the conversation with staff at the store. Was offered free helium but would have to repurchase the balloons.

First time at a Giant Tiger. The store was clean. Very friendly service. Prices are great. They had products I hadn't seen since I was a kid. You have a little of everything and a grocery store on top of all that. I'm a little surprised to see a Habs jersey in Leaf town. Loved the store overall. I will be back.

There are many cashiers who are unkind and have an attitude towards customers. Almost everytime I come to this store, a cashier is huffing and puffing, doesn’t even look at me or acknowledge my presence, and has a general attitude. There are some that are kind and friendly, but most are not. I’m not sure what would generate such behaviour as a customer that asks cashiers how their day has been and quickly packs their groceries so the line doesn’t get held up. I understand people have bad days, but be kind and do better.

Any store where you can potentially spend an hour shopping for a variety of merchandise that does not provide public washroom facilities is wrong. I understand that legally it's not required but morally this is absurd. There are many people like myself that suffer from bowel disorders that have to shop but may need to use a washroom while shopping and time unfortunately is not on our side. I understand that some undesirable individuals have abused the public facilities but that can be monitored as it was in the past. Bowel disorders are a disability and stores should have to accommodate these people. This issue is fairly new at your store and I will never step foot inside again unless changed. I hope that all people with this issue shop elsewhere.

Excellent selection and variety. Awesome grocery, produce and frozen food selection. Practical not like a mo frills but Excellent. Worth going in there. Great helpful friendly staff.
