BFM Thrift Store

Nice wide aisles and great parking. Prices are higher for a thrift store. Extremely clean and well organized. Very friendly staff made my family and I feel very welcome. I will definitely be visiting next time I'm in town.

Volunteer was incredibly rude and items were absurdly priced. A solid wood dresser covered in scratches was listed at $299.00 and a second hand winter coat $69.00… they claim to be non-profit but their prices are outrageous. This makes thrift shopping virtually inaccessible for those who can’t afford to buy new. Some “George” brand clothing items from Walmart listed higher than Walmart prices. Severely disappointed.

I go because the prices are fair. It is actually a donation place where splendid volunteers work and where I always find a nice surprise

I used to love coming here … until I felt stalked every time. Owners won’t say anything to you but will follow you. Will greet anyone else. They’ve also raised their prices, exactly like value village. Please remember you are supposed to be a THRIFT STORE - there for the low income community. Please save your time and don’t come here.

By far my favorite little gem of a second hand store to shop at!

This is another thrift small store in downtown. Need support in this pandemic situation. I recommend for unique collection of antique stuff.

The people here are ALWAYS so rude. I’ve stopped going since any time you ask a question you get snapped at. And what kind of thrift store has items like a dresser in the section with dressers for sale but its not for sale as it’s used as display? Stupidest thing ever

I brought a van full of donations about a month or a little more ago. I wasn't happy when the lady clerk there asked if she could pick through my stuff and only take the stuff she liked. My van was full of like new clothing that was newly dry-cleaned and everything else was all very good condition. That made me upset. My next load the following week went to Value Village

I have nothing but good things to say about this establishment in Pembroke, ON, it’s staff are very friendly and accommodating, items are priced to sell, the point system adds up quickly to give you an additional rebate for the next time you attend. I would recommend this store to anyone, sure it’s not nearly as large as “VV”.....who cares it’s for a good cause and they run the shop well.

I used to like this store. I will not return again however, since the last time I went I was greatly insulted by the owner. I picked up a jacket that was randomly placed with the pants. I looked for a pricetag and couldn't find one. I walked over to the counter to ask what the price was. The owner angrily rolled her eyes and suggested that I ripped the tag off , trying to steal it or get a better price. She stormed to the back room and put a $20 tag on it. When she came back, she started putting it back on the rack saying it's $20... As if I can't afford it? I wasn't going to pay more than $10 for a used jacket that was in rough shape, but suggesting I was up to no good, and couldnt afford it, is insulting. And this is supposed to be a religious thrift shop? Wow.
