Giant Tiger

I had the biggest scare of my life two nights ago when I forgot my purse with my life inside in a cart outside this store. I am extremely thankful that Michelle, Annie, and Dylan made the group effort of ensuring my purse was returned safety to me! I am so grateful and this completely restored my faith with the honest employees working at the Port Hope store! Thank you again!

This store has gone to crap. The manager decides apparently when to close . Hours on the door say 7pm on Saturday. On more then 1 wasted trip here closed half hour early. Tonight really was pathetic as I got there at 6:45 for coffee cream . Doors locked yet the sign says open till 7 on Saturday It was so cold tonight March 1st 2025 ,minus 13 Wasted my time yet again as well 2 ladies in a car who called before they went and the doors were locked at 6:40 . I could see 3 employees standing there doing nothing . Store hours are posted for reasons like assuring people they are open at specific hours and close at specific hours . This avoids conflict with consumers.nSo after 5 years of shopping here..Tonight minus 13 freezing my face off .nI am getting on the Porthope bus and shopping at the GT in cobourg. This manager really Should RESIGN as your not effective and diffenetly not efficiant so the management title becomes a liability instead. Obviously employees do not make these descions to close whenever it's convenient. If a supervisor then supervisor requires supervision and learn to demonstrate work ethics to these new employees and part of an effective management is to lead not teach employees to say the store is open till 7 when you lock the doors 20 minutes earlier. This has happened several times so maybe this manager needs to take and utilize a time management certificate program. They offer them at Flemming .

Supervisor very rude and disrespectful, learn to be nice if you’re going to work with the public.

I love to shop at Giant Tiger, especially for my clothes. Every time I go I to Guant Tiger, I am always overwhelmed with the variety of clothes for such amazing prices!! I would recommend Giant Tiger clothes. They are great quality for a low price.
