I have known Souvlaki George Pentsos, an engaging personality for 21 years. He has turned a previously unknown greasy spoon near the Loyola Campus of Concordia into a wildly popular Greek style eatery. AMAZING! Some of the BEST Greek food I have ever had! We ordered the pork souvlaki plate and it was delicious — the most tender and flavourful pork I have ever tasted. The pita which was a surprise to me, I didn’t even know it came with the plate! was soft and fluffy. The potatoes were soft and and amazing. The rice was a party in my mouth — the flavours… Wow, I can’t even continue to describe. It is best you go yourself and see what I mean You won’t be disappointed!

The best souvlaki I've ever had so far! They're the best in the city, I always recommend them to everyone, Also I always order from them when I have guests, cause I'm sure about the quality and taste and also I'm sure everybody will love it
Listen to me folks.I have ordered from this restaurant for take out/delivery over 40 times in the past 4 years. Yes I have a bit of an issue with cooking my own food. They have never made a single mistake in all of those orders. I have always gotten what I ordered and the food is always great. What else could you ask for?
I used to order takeout regularly from this place. The food used to be quite delicious but recently everything has been very salty. My last three orders have all been so salty skewers, soup, potatoes, pita, except for the salad. The amount of salt is so overwhelming, it's all I could taste. Not as good as it used to be so I won't be ordering again.
My husband and I went to pick up supper today. We have been there a couple of times in the past. Needless to say, we won't be going back. The food is good but extremely expensive for what you are getting. We ordered a chicken pita plate and a gyro pita plate. The word "plate" is deceiving. It is not a plate as it is prepared a la carte and everything is packaged separately. It cost us just under $40. We could have eaten in a restaurant for that price. I had the chicken pita plate and the pita had only 4 small pieces of chicken. Very disappointing. My husband had the gyro and there was minimal meat. The salad was 4 fork fulls. Also disappointing although the salad dressing was good. It is unfortunate that times are tough for restaurants these days but that does not mean that you shouldn't get full value for the high price you pay.
Picked up a chicken pita and gyro pita combo. Although not super cheap, it more than made up for it with how good the food was. It's been a long time since anything I ate hit the spot like that. Definitely recommend.Food: 5/5
LISTEN!!! No need to explore the competition...Souvlaki George is one of a kind and the best restaurant of its kind in Montreal. My favorite are the pitas, wings and calamari. Please check it out when you in the area.
Fast delivery, very tasty, good quantity of food, the mixed souvlaki mixed chicken/gyros was good, the gyros was also great, overall recommended restaurant, and I will try other dishes in the menu in the near future, good place for greek food whenever you have this craving!
Not as good as it used to be. Food delivered was cold and soggy bread. Tzatziki cup was half empty, rice was tasteless. I hope they go back on track because they used to be the best.
