George's Auto Centre

I was in a bind and went to Canadian Tire and that made me appreciate George's Auto. I have an old car (and don't want to put much money into it) and expressed that at Canadian Tire. They didn't put any effort to find after market parts and tried to up sell me on other items. I didn't want to fork out the money for the fan assembly and took to George's. Jim found a new after market assembly and completed the work for about 1/4 the price. I know i'm not comparing apples to apples (after market vs. VW branded), but I expressed that I didn't want to spend much at CT and they didn't help out. They were also alarmist that the car was unsafe to drive around the block. At George's they said it was safe...just couldn't crank the AC and needed to keep an eye on the engine temp. I've had good experiences in the past too. They always treat you fairly and honestly and never attempt to upsell.

Great service, fair price, great to work with. Went beyond expectation and even fixed a couple of issues caused by my previous mechanic free of charge. Highly recommend.
