Would not recommend takeout.  Maybe their sushi or dine-in is better.  $15 for mediocre udon in soup.  $25 for a small rice, small miso soup, 8 mediocre shrimp, a chunk of iceberg lettuce, and one soggy tempura battered something.  Didn't eat the chunk of iceberg lettuce or tempura thing.

Genji has the best Japanese food in Ottawa by far! Love the understated decor and friendly servers. Food is delicious and well-presented.

My first time having food at a Japanese place and had a great experience.  The atmosphere is good and the service was great. The food was good, I haven't had soba before so it was a little new but still had a good time.

One of, if not the best place to get sushi. Staff is so friendly. They make you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in.

Best sushi restaurant in Ottawa, hands down. With lots of menu options, very fresh fish, a Quiet atmosphere, great service & polite staff, we will definitely be returning.

High quality Sushi and incredible selection.  Presentation is fantastic, we got a dragon roll that actually looks like a dragon!  Goes far beyond what you can get at AYCE sushi restaurants.
