Harmons Steakhouse

Fantastic meal. The service and staff were very professional and so friendly and welcoming. They had great suggestions and checked in often to make sure our meal was good. The food was great, full of flavour, steak was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The restaurant was very clean and has a nice atmosphere. Harmon's is on the high end of the price scale so have a peek at the menu before going. But I think it's an awesome place to go for a special occasion if it's in your budget. We'll be back.

I will start with how impressed we were with the service here. We had a wonderful server named, Jesse/Jessie sorry if I’m spelling it incorrectly and he was an absolute delight. He really knows what’s he’s talking about when it comes to the different types and cuts of steaks, wines/beverages, and just about every single item on their menu. Love the atmosphere. Very chic and classy vibe to the place. Everything from presentation, portions, taste/flavours was excellent. Definitely on the higher end of fine dining, but still average for the types of steak cuts they have on their menu as compared to other restaurants offering the same. Our family of 5 all ordered different cuts of the Japanese Waygu and we cannot complain. The buttery softness, melt in your mouth texture - you just can’t beat. They offered us these delicious take homes that we heated in the oven for 3 minutes and wow, the perfect pastry to go with your morning tea/coffee. We will definitely be returning and recommending friends and family to this restaurant.

Absolutely Amazing. They did a great job with the renovations. Modern touch while keeping with the historicness of the building. And the service was incredible. So many restaurants are struggling to find not only help, but good help. Not sure how they pulled it off but yeah, the service was outstanding. Last but not least... The food was as we hoped for considering this restaurant is at the higher price point but worth it. Highly recommended. Nice to have such a great new restaurant in the city. Can't wait for their patio too this summer.

Came here tonight for date night and it was a phenomenal experience! Service was great and our server kind and knowledgeable of the menu. We ordered oysters rockefeller for an app and it was so tasty! We also ordered a dry aged strip loin steak and a mushroom risotto along with a couple side dishes. Steak melted in your mouth and the risotto is one of the best ones I’ve ever had. Great vibes and highly recommend.

A delectable and delightful dinner experience in every way. The atmosphere was lovely, the wait staff excellent, and the food service elegant and well coordinated. The food...a mouth watering and spectacular selection that tantalized our taste buds. Thank you for a superb evening with dinner with friends. This was my first, but definitely not my last visit . The lobster wedge salad was off the charts delicious.

One of the best experiences we've ever had to a nice fancy dinner. We had Jessie as our server for tonight and it was such a delight to have him serve us. The appetizers we had were delicious and unforgettable to the palate. I was so happy when I found out that they have the foie gras... A must try is their Japanese A5 Wagyu Steak as this melts in your mouth like butter. We also tried the 12oz Ribeye steak that was 26 days dry aged. Steaks are seasoned perfectly but they also give you options to try their in-house sauces if your a person who likes to sauce your steak up. I enjoyed it with a bit of Nova Scotia grey salt. I am a grey salt fan. I only let my boyfriend season my steak with grey salt and pepper .. Overall experience was top notch. They definitely didn't disappoint my boyfriend as he wanted to dine here since day one when we arrived from Toronto. A must visit restaurant when your in Ottawa. P.S. We highly suggest you book a reservation with them as it is easy to get in if you have a reservation.

Great Food. Great Service. I made a dinner reservation for me and my husband. Put a note in my reservation that it is our anniversary. After we were seated, our servers greeted us with complimentary Champagne. It's for our "anniversary". We felt very special. The staff are really nice. They keep on checking on us to see how we're doing. I had to go to the washroom and someone even guided me all the way to the washroom to make sure I'll find it easily. All the staff are very friendly and just gives us the biggest smiles. One of our server even offered to take photos of us. I don't even have to ask for water cause they just keep on filling up my cup the moment it gets halfway full. We ordered a the Seafood tower for our appetizer. Australian Grassfed Steak & T-Bone Steak for our main. Brussel sprouts and Wagyu Tortellini for our sides. They were really good. The steak was cooked to perfection. The seafood tower is amazing. The Brussel Sprout is a must try. Oh! Their Sorbet is really delicious too. Peach Sorbet is the best! There's also complimentary morning buns to take home. Oh! I almost forget, the complimentary bread is also amazing! Crunchy on the outside and super soft in the inside. Love this place. We had a great experience. It is a really great place to celebrate special occasions.

This is the best steak house in Ottawa. Nice ambiance, delicious food, beautiful design correct table layout. 5 start Food presentation 5-star test of the meat 5-star cooking method.

An awesome experience. Terry was great, welcoming, very professional and he helped us choose from the menu. We had the Japanese Wagyu, Australian Grass-fed Ribeye and the Tomahawk and we asked for the chef’s choice and we shared them on the table. This was a great choice since we 5 wanted to try different things. The flavour and texture were amazing. Sides were also great, my favourite side is the cremini mushrooms. We were here for our friend’s birthday and they surprised at at the need with a little surprise Thank you Harmons

We had a wonderful dining experience at Harmon steakhouse. The service was great and on point. We shared a tomahawk steak which was cooked exactly as we had requested. The selection of wine is great too and we enjoyed a nice bottle of Bordeaux. The food was delicious, but what made the experience great was the professional service! Our wine glasses were always full and the servers graciously moving and serving made the experience great to make sure people enjoy their experience. It’s the experience for me!
