Love Shingen! This restaurant is the only authentic izakaya restaurant in Ottawa. Their food is very authentic and everything I've ordered tasted so good. I can't wait to go back to the restaurant once it's open.
Really friendly service and had good preventative measures in terms of covid regulations when there was dine-in. I highly recommend the katsu curry and nabe!
I understand it’s a difficult time for everyone . But food quality is down to the hill since my last visit. And the waitress, I don’t know if she’s the owner or waitress, bad service throughout our visit. We drove all the way from barrhaven. But we didn’t get good service and good food. I do not recommend this place anymore.
I can't believe I am having these in Ottawa, 5+ rating if I can. Very fresh and outstanding! Best and only Japanese restaurant!
Place is pretty lively. Everything was extremely tasty. Absolutely loved the takoyaki!
This place is a gem. They serve many authentic dishes that are hard to find at Japanese restaurants in Ottawa. Highly recommend the grilled mackerel and the ochazuke. This is my go-to spot when I miss authentic Japanese food!
