Gambardella's Pasta Bella

Came here for my birthday. Waited almost an hour for my drinks and apps to come out and then another hour and a half for my entree. I tried to muscle through my cold appetizer and cold dinner but whatever was on top of my meal was rubbery and when I asked what it was, no one knew. The manager said it was "clam pieces". The Manager was only really concerned that the server "didn't offer to heat it up for [me]". I was appalled that you would even "reheat" seafood to start with! The wine flights were great but otherwise a restaurant that I'm surprised is sill in business. You get to pick 2 of 3 typically: Good Food, Fast Service, or Cheap Prices. This place was none of those. Save your time and money

The servers are friendly, the atmosphere is rustic, and the food looks, smells, and tastes lovely. Plus, there's free WiFi! Overall, I'd say the servers are the best part of the experience. They're attentive, knowledgeable, and.. Well, I'm rambling! Good service, good food, good place. :)

Went in with family shortly after lunch hour, about 1:30. There was one person serving and our visit took close to two hours. The $6 garlic bread was the real winner. The $6 bread selection on the other hand.consisted of five slices of Italian bread in two small loaves. Had to request oil and vinegar. Three of us ordered Alfredo, no chicken. We were informed the chef accidentally put chicken in all of them. If we didn't mind, we could have that and not be charged. Not one of us could eat even a quarter of the Alfredo. The taste of FISH, not chicken or sauce was overpowering!! Two in our party ordered dessert to go. When the server noticed we did not touch our Alfredo, we told her the reason. She graciously comped the desserts. I wish I could end it there on a positive note. Unfortunately, when the desserts were to be eaten, there was MOLD on the chocolate cheesecake!! We called them to let them know and we received a cordial thanks. Needless to say, we will not be back.

Service was slow, it was difficult to get drink refills or condiments. When our food arrived it was cold and lacked flavor. The portions were very small and the bill was quite large. I've had croutons larger than the bread in the basket. The manager kept telling us how they were fine dining and how well reputed their menu was, we weren't convinced. The restaurant was warm and charming but it wasn't enough to balance out a disappointing meal and poor service. I won't be going back and I can't recommend that anyone else should.
