Very good customer service and the installation of my new 150 yamaha was top quality. Nadine was very friendly and the invoicing and correspondence with me with any questions I had was excellent. Nice work GA checkpoint! Also the lady at the front desk was really friendly and courteous. I forgot her name though
They take my money and yet make me smile!!! Mac and Doug or on two different sides of the shop experience, yet they are very much a Batman and Robin. Mac was so knowledgeable and incredible with my sale, a true man to his word. Then when I need parts and maintenance, boom, Paul always there, with a smile and a joke. GA Checkpoint is my first stop for Yamaha! Thanks guys
What a fantastic team at this dealership. Casey helped me through the process with passion and professionalism. Mac was great to support financial sides. Maggie was so helpful in delivering the bike and fantastic customer service. The facility is clean tidy and lots of parking. Tricity is wealthy by having these people as Yamaha dealer. GA Checkpoint is absolutely recommended!
Worst service/repair experience I have ever had. If you need a Yamaha outboard repaired do not use this company. Inadequate diagnosis and extremely slow service response yet you are still charged as though they did everything correctly. Due to their incompetence, my boat was not operable for a full year.
We've had some issues with my $800 Yamaha F40 outboard motor repair. Nobody's perfect and everyone makes mistakes - it's how you respond that counts. I'll edit this review depending on how Checkpoint's service team responds. Stay tuned...
I give this location 5 starts as I really appreciated the customer service of @gacheckpointyamaha in Port Coquitlam. I bought the yamaha xsr700 and Casey took his time to explain the bike to me, went over the technical aspects and how to ride in the engine properly as it is being a new bike. Mentioned about the tires that they need time to break in. You know for me who is not so 'tech' oriented, it was super helpful and I really appreciated it. Mac took his time to go over the riding part, he came out with me and did some riding skills to help me feel comfortable riding home. And all of that happened after hours! I am so thankful that Casey and Mac took time for me, I felt cared for, valued and I knew they really want me to be safe and enjoy the bike! I will recommend the store as this is what customer service should look like. Thank you both, I will be back for services and to say Hi! You two are the best, I felt so cared for
The store has great selections, knowledgable staff, wish they could help me change my old motor on my old, but still sea worthy, boat though.
I don’t recommend this bike service. My new bike got first time service. The labor fee is unreasonably high. It costs me about $400 for 3 hours bike service, and it took them a full day to finish. Also, they put too much oil on the chain which cost spoiling on rear tire. It is dangerous since I was making a turn and almost slipped on that day. It would be another story if that happened. Plus, they don’t clean your bike after service.
Staff is awesome. The girls are always cheerful and ready to answer all my questions. Pat helped me to get my bike ready for the riding season and when he said he’ll get something done you’re sure to know that he will follow through.
Very friendly and accommodating. If you’re looking for an inflatable boat, zodiac, or other type then this is a great place to visit. I bought a boat and motor today. Can’t wait to get it on the water!
