So grateful for the kind and efficient care today from Kelly at the front desk and Dr. Benoit. I called this morning at the chance I could get an appointment today with my usual optometrist for an acute concern, even though I could not get it with my usual doctor, Kelly called me back to offer me and appointment with Dr. Benoit and I was so grateful to be seen today. I was helped as soon as I arrived at the clinic and was in and out with a treatment plan within 10 minutes. Glad to know that this clinic is not only there for my usual check ups, but is great for when unexpected issues come up too. Thank you!
I have brought my family here multiple times for eye exams and to buy glasses. The optometrists do a great job, however, the customer service after that has been terrible. They never seem to have the time to help last time I simply needed a screw that keeps falling out of my son's glasses even though there are always multiple people at the front, seemingly with nothing to do.
I had a bad experience with DR. Benoit. Waited in the room for around 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment. When he finally did come in he did not offer an apology instead saying he had to take a phone call. I did hear him outside while I was waiting talking to another staff member about Palm Springs. When I did finally see him I had an issue with blurry vision. Throughout the entire appointment I found him to be arrogant and seemed very rushed. He said it should "clear up" this has not happened yet. So I will be going to a new clinic to see if I can get some proper treatment.
Was trying to see The Dr here. Made a appointment, first time i got it wrong Did not fully read the reminder text sent the day before. Showed up and found i had missed the appointment. Thats on me. While there i re-booked a month later and asked for the reminder card, showing todays date at 12:30 PM Show up again today, to find out i missed the appointment again as the time of the appointment was 10:45 AM????? I responded to the reminder text confirming the day before. Surely they should have gotten the time right on thier end??? Therefore I'm very upset about my wasted time here, on FYI's end they won't be getting an order for 3 pairs of glasses. Staff was indifferent about why or how this appointment was missed.
They have such a wide selection and really good customer service. Make sure you book an appointment to purchase/try-on glasses to get the best service. I found my sunglasses here and my husband found a great pair of glasses here! I'll be shopping here for glasses from now on!
Hilary is so amazing at FYI. I needed new frames and she knows exactly what looks best on my face. I sit back and relax while she delivers so many amazing frames. They offer such a wide variety of styles and high end frames. The whole experience at FYI is positive and fun from the optometrist to optician to front reception. Highly recommend FYI doctors!!!
I appreciate the thorough exam that I received. I always feel guilty if I do not buy glasses there so this time I thought I would even though they cost more. Very friendly service when I was being suggested different glasses but I did not appreciate the service when I picked up my glasses. The woman who was assisting me made me feel like I was wasting her time and didn't seem to want to fit them on me properly. I I will not purchase glasses here again.
Tried out a new optician closer to home, and couldn't be more satisfied with the quality and level of service. Dr. Jason Alexander was very thorough and patient during the eye exam, I felt that my concerns and questions were all addressed in the most pleasant manner. I was then introduced to Jenette, who floored me with her expertise, professionalism, and fantastic advice that I don't think I could have gotten anywhere else. Didn't feel rushed or pressured and had myself THE nicest experience purchasing new frames and lenses. Lastly, there were some issues with my glasses arriving late from manufacturing facility, but Jenette stayed on top of things, kept me updated, and made sure that I felt well compensated for the extra trouble by offering me a future discount which I'm sure I'll apply shortly. Recommending this to location to my friends, family, and to any wise and value minded reader. You won't be disappointed with the above and beyond excellent service from either Dr. Alexander or Jenette.
Love the way that they treated me. Very professional staff and doctors. Would recommend this place to anyone who is interested in a great check up or replacement of glasses Give them a call.
Thank you so much to Dr. Alexander and his receptionist Rita for their help yesterday. I was at a laser eye consultation and after I left my eye would not stop watering and the pain became unbearable. I was driving home from work and stopped at FYI in Sherwood Park and spoke to Rita but they were completely full for the day. She spoke to Dr Alexander on my behalf and he personally called me at home and said he would stay late and see me after hours that day.Thank goodness, because I had a bad abrasion on my cornea from one of the tests that I had done that morning at the laser surgery consultation. He fixed me up patched my eye and then asked me to come in the next day before his shift started again to see how I was doing. At that next morning appointment he also found that I had angle closure glaucoma in one eye. And is now sending me to a specialist. If left unnoticed things could have been very bad. So thankful for him taking the time to see me and get me out of pain and to go above and beyond his regular work day. Top notch Doctor right there!!
