Funnel Cake Express

We had a craving for this so travelled downtown. Funnel cake and ice cream was great but didn’t like the strawberry preserve sauce. Would have preferred fresh strawberries. Would go back but skip the strawberry sauce.

Great friendly staff! I recently purchased my unlimited funnel cake for two months. I’ve tried the monthly specials and just the regular funnel cake with strawberries. First of all, the people who work there are really nice. I believe her name was Nelly, very nice lady. Super talkative but not too much. Great customer service. The funnel cakes are always delicious, not too greasy which is what I thought I’d be getting, I mean it really just is deep fried batter. A funnel cake is way too much for one person so bring a friend or two and share in this deliciousness! They’re totally IG worthy too!

Funnel Cake Express was really great! They came onsite to our offices for an event and were very accommodating. We were able to customize the services to meet our needs without going over budget. Our staff really enjoyed the event and our offices smelt like funnel cake for days! : I would definitely recommend using these guys for your next event.

Found this hidden gem on a random walk and was so pleased at the end of the experience. The wonderful rep that was there was so nice and helpful when ordering, then the food just made everything better. It’s was a real treat. Everything made to order and just delicious. I definitely recommend.

It was ok. My friends also thought it was alright. Their personal funnel cake is actually enough to fill two people. The strawberry sauce is definitely for those with a sweeter tooth. For 7 something including tax, I thought it was a fair price. They offer a free personal funnel cake on your bday with i.d. They were giving out free hot chocolate and French vanilla as a promotion with the funnel cake, but it was sooo watered down that none of us drank any and just threw it out there were 3 us and all 3 drinks were the same.

The funnel cakes are made fresh right before you, they have unique ice cream flavours and the price is reasonable. The funnel cake was more crispier than I expected, I think the person who made it lacked experience or the oil needed to be changed. I plan on giving them a second chance, hopefully it's more fluffy this time.

It's amazing that in the midst of this pandemic, with carnivals, amusement parks and ribfests all shut down, you can still get a freshly made funnel cake! Funnel Cake Express is downtown Toronto, and apart from funnel cakes you can get funnel fries, deep fried mars bars, deep fried twinkies and deep fried butter. They have apple sauce with applie-pie style apples, strawberry sauce with strawberries, and caramel or chocolate drizzle with chocolate or vanilla iced cream. If you're lucky enough to catch the food truck they have the same options!

The frozen yogurt was really solid soft cream which made it feel real. The funnel cake was really fresh and I was able to share it with three other people. Also, saw a sign that says free funnel cake in your birthday.

Portions are huge and well worth your $13! They’re pretty generous with the toppings and soft serve ice cream as well : @nomsoftoronto

Overall good experience. Polite stuff and good delicious food. 1 portion may be good for 2 people. I give rate 3 stars as i didnt like design of tables and chair not really comfortable. Also big minus that there is not enought ventilation as you may end up bringing the smell of fry with you. Also don"t think there is wi-fi available.
