Love this place! Authentic food + ingredients. Simple menu and cozy place, rapid service with friendly staff

Went today with my wife and two kids and it was a very pleasant experience! The lady was very kind and took care of us to make it as easy as possible with two young kids, frequently checking up on us. I really appreciated that! The food was also very good, I ordered two different steamed dumplings, a wonton soup, a fried wonton dish and some Shanghai style noodles. Everything was very tasty, generous serving sizes, and felt homemade. The noodles were really good! A quick comment about the monthly special: they were the same price as the main menu, so I'm not sure what the special was. Maybe I was just tired. There's plenty more to try from the menu, so I can't wait to go back!!

Such a great soup dumpling restaurant! I highly recommend giving this gem a try. The dumplings are so savory and mouthwatering while the soup inside is outstandingly delicious. The staff is extremely friendly as well! I am already looking forward to my next visit!

Authentic Shanghai food absolutely amazing! we drove 2 hours from Ottawa just for this, will come back again

As I'd lived in Shanghai for 5 years, I find the soup dumplings here to be the most authentic I've tried so far in MTL. The level of sweetness in them is just right. The vinegar with ginger is a nice touch as well. Service was really courteous. Would definitely come back to try more on the menu.Food: 5/5

Really nice little restaurant in Concordia neighborhood. The food is really good and typical Shanghai like. The decor is original and cosy. Tried the pork and shrimp dumplings and they were delicious. Fried pork and sesame wonton were really good too! Eill come back!Food: 5/5

Their menu had a fuller menu with more appies and side dishes than other dumpling houses. Braised gluten was deliciously sweet. The sunflower seed and pine nuts salad was interesting and small in portion. The soup was sufficiently hot and sour, as judged by my spice-loving friend. The Buddha's delight noodles were quite nice, though price tag was high for the portion and ingredients used. The xiao long bao pork baos promo: free order if you order more than $30 of food flavour was spot-on. The mushroom xiao long bao could've used more flavour and didn't have any juices; bless their heart for trying. They also had 8-treasure sticky rice dessert forgot to take a photo, which was a nice treat to end the meal. Overall, the dishes were more delicate and using less MSG. Service was pleasant and prompt. Would come back again to try more dishes and wontons.

Due to the restaurant being extremely busy on a Friday evening, my pickup order was unfortunately not ready on time. However, the male manager was extremely understanding, apologized several times, and attempted to make up for the long wait time. As other reviews have mentioned, the soup dumplings were well worth the wait. The tasty food and their attention to providing great customer service deserves to be highlighted. I look forward to dining in eventually!
