Froshberg Gelato

I don’t know what all these bad reviews are about. Portions size is similar to other premium ice cream places in Calgary attached photo is a double for ~$7.50, service was polite and fast despite only one person working. Scoop was changed between flavours. Gelato is very good.

I was very shocked the small servings as other locations are more cheaper and tastier. It cost $5 for a small servings. Plus I saw HAIR !! I informed them about it and asked if I want another one I told them I don’t need as I won’t be ordering here anymore. I gave them a feed back saying it’s crazy how you are charging $5 for such a small portion but doesn’t live up to the expectation of the flavour and quality.

Was very disappointed with the service and product. Asked about the banana split believing that would be nice to share with my girls. But the girl happily took my money to leave what appears to be the new girl to make my desert. Scooping three very small scoops to fit the bottom of a waffle bowl. Then smothering it in whip cream to make it look larger. She did add a nice drizzle of chocolate syrup. But then proceeded to place it on a styrofoam plate and hand it to me. Presentation matters I immediately asked if bananas are included? "oops" she said and took my desert back, asked the cashier where the banana are, taking my desert into the back room to return with it60 sec, not to long and proceeded to chop the banana into small pieces to surround two sides of the bowl. Hands me the plate back and says "here you go" with a smile. Pretty girl but the way the cashier described what's on a banana split just was expecting more. Like a cherry or possibly other fruit. I shouldn't need to make the point that with this desert, time is against you when preparing it. Overall the girls were very friendly but the portions are very small, even paying $13.50 for a signature treat. And may need more organization for the store. But the presentation was pathetic.

Located on 4th floor of Core mall. Employees didn’t seem to care about their jobs - leaning on counters and not making eye contact. Stingy portions, wasn’t all that impressed with the taste which lacked the usual smoothness of great gelato.

do NOT go here, especially if you have allergies. they use the same scoop for all the flavours, causing my friend who has a peanut allergy to have a reaction. upon her having the reaction, we saw bits of peanut in her gelato and when we asked the workers about it they rudely claimed to use different scoops. however, we were clearly able to see only one scoop being used. not only do they have a clear disregard for their customers, the gelato itself was extremely mediocre very crumbly, overly sweet, and artificial tasting.

The gelato itself was mediocre, my complaint is in the serving size. We paid $5 for one 2 ounce scoop. We even double checked if this was a mistake or a kid's size but were told that this is a correct amount for $5!

Not a lot of choices for gelato and most of the ones they had were fruity I like chocolate flavours. Also, the gelato itself was slimy and sticky instead of smooth and creamy, and it was way too sweet. Finally, one small scoop of one flavour was $5 - overpriced!!

BEWARE PEOPLE WITH ALLERGENS! This shop uses the same scoop for all their flavours, and one of my friends had an allergic reaction to the nuts that were on the scoop used for her ice-cream. When confronted, the worker seemed confused and proceeded to lie when we told her about the allergy. I would not recommend this shop to anyone, and I would highly recommend you to go to the bakery that also serves gelato downstairs.

I am not 100% sure that it is authentic gelato but it was good

worst customer service! the people working looks like they are forced to work. One of them was on the phone in front of us.
