Front Row Insurance

I've been with Front Row for a little under four years. Their rates are reasonable and I love that they understand photo/film industries. I've never had to make a claim but I've heard good things from other photographers. My only complaint is that they no longer cover your equipment if it's stolen from your car. As someone who works on the road this leaves me on edge. Would happily pay a little more for this option even with a higher deductible. UPDATE: Front Row, thank you for clarifying my concerns. This is why you guys are great!

You cannot get a hold of anyone at their offices. The response times from agents are ridiculous as well. I haven't been able to discuss insurance inquiries/estimates with anyone in-person yet.

I'm always impressed when companies do all they can to prevent you from giving them your money. They don't answer the phone or their phone system automatically directs you to a mailbox that informs you it is full then hangs up, their help chat on the website is a bot that just told me because I live outside of the US I can't buy Canadian film insurance. What? Keep up the good work champs.

I have no idea if Front Row Insurance is any better than any other insurance company when it comes to honouring a claim...I've never had to make one, thankfully. I do know that obtaining insurance for my film gear was made very easy, and they seem to understand the insurance challenges for freelancers, whereas other insurance companies don't understand the business at all. I feel like my premiums and coverage are good value for the cost.

I just had to post a review because the service provided by this company especially through their agent Victor Carreiro is exceptional! They are extremely fast in providing quotes as well as to responding to my emails. They show extreme care in their clients and they follow up to assure everything is going well and fits our needs. I am extremely pleased with their service and would highly recommend it.
