Not only is the store SUPER dirty, their pricing is insane! Wow do better. The price gouging at your stores is out of control. I’ve stop donating anything to your store anymore. Explain this? Brand new at Amazon is $65
This used to be my favorite Renaissance store in the city. In the past year their greed and incompetence have unfortunately increased by a lot.nnAlthough you may still find occasional treasures, many items cost more than they did brand new.nnA broken 2$ candle holder from Dollarams is sold for 3$ here. A 15$ ikea lamp with a missing power cord is sold for 18$ at this store. They even try to sell empty lemonade bottles for the same price as full ones at the fruit shop next door.
So... I went the wrong way and walked by this store by accident. I could see the prices from outside, so I just walked in. I never skip a thrift store; they always have fun stuff. This friperie has a wide range of clothing, shoes, bags, etc. There's no way you walk out of it empty handed. The prices are quite reasonable too. Besides a new crop top from Dynamite that cost $30, everything else ranged from 5.50-20. The also have a variety of games, books, sports gear, utensils, etc on the second floor. If you love thrifting, you won't regret stopping by this store.
Reasonably priced for my needs in: glassware, bedding, bathing suits, kitchen electronics $10 popcorn maker? we're makin' popcorn now! and big pots, assorted organizational aids, baskets.nnGlasses and baskets are usually a couple bucks. I bought a few things the other day -- rainboots $14, sleeping bag $10, gym mats $10.nnThe store expanded into the basement, so it's pretty big inside! There's a ramp between the two main floor areas, but downstairs is only accessible by stairs.nnLayout:nMAIN FLOOR - clothing adults + kids, bags, jewellery, shoes,  furniture and selected electronics, house paint, change roomsnnBASEMENT - glassware, kitchen items, organizational office stuff, frames, bedding, books, toys, electronics, sportswearnnEasy improvement:nI second the suggestion to mount more mirrors in the clothing sections, especially near the change rooms! Being able to try on a jacket, or whatever, in front of a mirror is so helpful. I hate to clog up the line for the changeroom just cuz I need a mirror!
Store feels dirty, changing rooms are super small and look like they’ve never been cleaned. Big store that gives you the illusion that you’ll find something, but the quality of the items there is very lacking
