I had 3 bad experiences with this company in a week.n1 we went in and they were filming something and so the door said they were closing at 5:00 instead of 7:00. No problem. At 4:45, they started playing the song “closing time” on a loop and told me the cash was closing. I thought maybe they were being obnoxious because of the filming but then I went again and they started the same thing 15 minutes to close. Abide by your posted hours or adjust them.n2 I went to their other store Déjà Vu with a lingering credit from this store and it was refused but they took my loyalty card. Annoying. The prices were also shocking at this location. I bought one thing.n3 I went in to use the same credit back at Notre Dame. When I was checking out, the girl applied the credit and then deleted it by accident so my payment went through without the credit applied. I asked her to just refund me and she said she couldn’t, no refunds. I said it was her mistake, not mine and she said there was nothing she could do and to come back again to use it or give it away. She was clearly apologetic but it’s a major management miss that they can’t refund at all. I live out of province and now have to make time to spend it before I leave. She also gave me the debit slip and not the bill for my new purchases so I can’t make an exchange. To make it all worse, it was 5:47 and closing time started playing on a loop again so I gave up and left.nnI went to their stores a total of 5 times during my stay and the experience was overall really bad. I was excited about these new thrift stores but was really let down.
Large variety and the odd good find, but a lot of overpriced trash to sift through to find the good stuff. Lots of broken things, clothes with holes or stains etc. I donate stuff and look around if I have some time to kill as I like to try and support the charity. I bought two children's puzzles 10-20 pieces as presents only to find both had several pieces missing. I'd understand if it was a 1000 piece, but it should be so simple to count 10 pieces! Of course I was beyond the 15 day return period so can't get my money back.
AMAZINGnnNothing but good thing to say about this thrift store!nIt has to be the best thrift store left in the city.nnIt is a bit further out from the center.nnThere is a wide variety for men’s clothes, as well as for women’s clothes.nWide variety of household items.nnBesides the wide variety, nice quality, it is also really clean!nnThe music there is really good, well curated.nThe decor is also really nice, all this to give a great thrifting experience.nnThe store doesn’t have any cabin but you can try the clothes on near the mirrors.nnThe staff is also really sweet!
They always have the best finds here ! I got some cute jewelry this time around !
Lots of super fun options for clothing, staff is awesome and such a fun vibe to shop at!
