I was very excited to finally get to try this place after several weeks of attempting. From the time we walked into the restaurant we were treated with a warm and welcoming staff and a very chic decor. The food is where I had the actual problem. Some of the problem stems from what we ordered and some is the overall seasoning or lack there of in our case. Some of the dishes we ordered needed salt and even after adding it still was bland. We ordered a mock drink that was just as much as the real thing and it came in a very tiny glass. Overall I think the prices were too high and the food was under seasoned. Not sure I will plan another trip here.
Everything from the music being played to the cocktails and food was amazing. I was thoroughly pleased with everything I had. I highly recommend this place. We didn't even have dinner there, just multiple small plates and drinks, and I left feeling like I had just gone on a culinary adventure. Please treat yourself and go to this restaurant.
Beef tacos and Tuna was very nicely done. Margherita on a flat read was a true surprise. Lamb skewers were well done but were bland and dipping sauce should have been provided. Service is wonderful and gets 5 out of 5. Desserts are good but the deconstructed apple pie was a bit small in size. Fresko is a cool place and deserves 5 out of 5 but food requires a pinch more spice and sauce. Vegetarian options: Good flat breads available for vegetarian folks
Good experience overall. The service was pretty good and wait times for food was reasonable. The food was average but we expected a bit more for the cost. The bartender made an excellent old fashioned and the drinks were the best part. Hanger steak was not cooked evenly and lacking in flavor. The wings had good flavor but chewy. The chicken tacos were excellent, I would definitely order the tacos again.
Stopped in for Breakfast on a Cool Saturday morning at 11:00am. They take reservations, but we not needed. On nights and weekends there is a free parking lot directly south of the entrance. I included a photo of the days/ hours of free parking. I had the AM tacos with egg whites and spicy salsa. I like ALOT of heat - and it wasn’t very spicy. The Bloody Mary was perfect. My friends enjoyed the lavender mimosa, iced coffees, hippie omelette and skillet. Food and service were great. The vibe and music made for a fun Saturday
The food was amazing. We had the octopus appetizer. My wife had the lobster ravioli and loved it. I had the pan seared scallops they were great. And the desert was to die for. Oh did I mention it was our anniversary. The desert chief wrote a special message in chocolate on my wife's plate and delivered it in person. Now for the staff everyone greeted us with smiles and were very friendly. The waiter was the best we've ever had from any restaurant. I just wish we could remember his name so we could give his name out on here so he could get the recognition he deserves. Thanks for the great service, food and time. If my wife is good we'll be backif she's not then I'll be back and leave her at home lol. Thanks from the Bucy's
Amazing wait staff and hostesses! The drinks were delicious and the food was awesome! Went during happy hour and stayed for dinner. The flatbread were a great deal and quite delicious. They also make a great margarita also tried the lavender butterfly and white sangria, but the margarita was my favorite. Tried some of a friend's grilled octopus and was amazed at the level of flavor they got into it. Also enjoyed my Golden Dragon Street Noodles, great pad Thai flavors! The cheesecake cannoli were a great light dessert to top it all off. Will definitely be coming back!
Highly recommended! I went during lunch time and they had great bar service. The seared tuna was amazing but I would say definitely get it with the soy sauce. I also enjoyed a Manhattan which was perfect and they have a great bourbon selection to customize. Put this on your list for sure!Food: 5/5
[October] Date night with my best friend! Neither of us had been to Fresko, so we obviously wanted to sample the entire menu! Thinking we were ready to order, our waitress informed us tacos were half off. So, we went back to the drawing board! Their white sangria had fresh lime, lemon, and orange - and is my new favorite sangria in the DSM area! We went with the kefte, beet and goat cheese salad, and their goat cheese and truffle smashed potatoes! For tacos all awesome, but here was our order of preference: short rib, chicken mango salsa, fish jicama slaw. Great food with the best company!
Wow! Really so good on all levels. The staff was super friendly, food was great, and the venue is gorgeous! I ordered the Ribeye Steak Sandwich, Truffle Fries, and a Lavender Mamosa. All were incredible and awesome flavor! I could come everyday and not try all the things that look good on their menu. Will definitely be back to try more!
