Whoever is in charge of the carts, needs to remove the garbage before putting them at the front of the store for customers to use. The last 5+ times I’ve gone, the majority of carts are filthy and filled with garbage. Most recently I could not find a decent cart so I left. Not gonna carry my items. Also, it would be nice if they removed that stupid bread rack that is blocking a row of carts. Do better freshco!
I don't like the way they have a gate on the way in which forces customers to leave by only one exit. I went in for one item but saw a bulky item was on sale and needed a cart. The only way to get one was to exit the store and come back in leaving the stuff I had already bought off to one side. All the cashier lines but one were blocked by secured shopping carts and the only one open was right next to the self serve checkout. This created a bottleneck even though the store was quiet. Dangerous if there was a fire. The store did not feel consumer friendly. I realize theft might be a problem but the security measures created a hazard.
Check the dates and keep your receipts when you shop here, bought this rice October 5, 2024 and saw this expiration date when I got home.
I really don't know why shopping centres feel the need to create complex parking lots. One can only access this place one way. I noticed tire tracks over some of the curbs-no surprise. After negotiating unnecessary twist and turns, I arrive at Sobeys. The store is clean and as it was early in the morning, not many shoppers however only one cashier open and that was at the customer service desk. There was one person in front of me with a few items. The cashier was helping him and on the phone at the same time. Customers that are in the store are the priority in my mind, someone else should have been answering the phone. After waiting almost 10 minutes, it was finally my turn to pay for 3 items. I was not impressed. Other Sobeys I have been to are much more efficient than this one. I recommend going to another Sobeys or another company. I also recommend self serve checkouts especially for people who are only purchasing a few items. A very disappointing experience.
Yesterday I was in the Fresh Co.I was very surprised by the large assortment of Ukrainian products,my daughter and I bought a Kyiv cake and many Ukrainian sweets for a good price.The store is clean tidy many different products.The se is excellent.Thank you very much for the good service.
