I needed to get new lenses for my glasses, but my Ophthamologist had already made me an appointment with an optometrist. I took my frames for the 2 prescriptions, and discovered the optician they used was far beyond my price range. I was sure she’d made a mistake and was trying to charge for my frames as well. I came back to my own neighbourhood and went to Dr Derek Chong for the prescriptions. What a wonderful surprise. Two sets of lenses — one for near sight, other for distance and both with anti glare and scratch protection as well as blue light protection, also for both, cost me less than 1/2 that the big chain optician wanted for the work. Dr. Chong price came in at UNDER $400.00. I took them in on Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend, and they were ready on Wednesday. That is service!. If you need an eye exam and new lenses, see this doctor, you won’t be disappointed.

I am new to the neighborhood and I was calling around asking about product, services and prices. I'm in a rush order because I have an interview tomorrow and my last contact just broke. The ladies at reception are informative, helpful, and polite. I called a few times to confirm services and they were very patient with me. My glasses were fitted with the quality lenses in 20 minutes at a very affordable price! I am very happy with their services. Quick, efficient, and a great price! Thank you! I definitely recommend this place!

Dr. Chong and Gloria and their team is really great. It is always a great experience to visit them and have our eyes examined. They are the best team.

They are quite nice people but I learned over the years that they rip you off. I would go to get my prescription checked and everytime it would be different, which therefore, forces me to get new lenses aka giving them more money. After a couple years, I became quite suspicious and decided to try another optometrist and realised that my vision was fine and was actually wearing lenses that were too high and actually making my vision worse. Total rip off, wouldn't recommend it.

Absolutely horrible experience. I've ordered glasses over a month ago and followed up to see what's going on. They completely forgot I had ordered glasses and I'm still struggling. If you need glasses, I strong advise going anywhere else other than here. AVOID THIS PLACE! IT'S AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE TO DEAL WITH!

The receptionists here were very unprofessional, and not up front with their pricing. Very bad service and rude. I was yelled at on the phone and the lady hung up on me because I decided not to buy a pair of glasses from them. Buyer beware.

My experience was great at this eye clinic! The receptionist was very friendly and Dr. Chong was very knowledgeable in his field. I'd highly recommend this clinic if you are serious about your eye care.

I had a great experience. They were able to fit me in last minute and thoroughly explained my eye exam.
