Live music with an actual singer give it the special touch. The stir-fry Cantonese menu is amazing. The BBQ skewers are also good! The only thing that can improve slightly is communication can be a little better and can miss order here and there. Other than that I would definitely go back.Food: 5/5
A place for music and Chinese bbq skewer. They have stage with KTV system. The music is kind of loud and very difficult to have any conversation unless you start shouting to each other. Definitely not a place for romantic dinner. But for those who enjoy loud music, this may be the place for you Service is attentive. Food is on the spicy side. I order no spicy but still a hint of spicy. Location is pretty convenient.
2022 July 4 Just off woodbine avenue, in a plaza, downstairs, you'll find this lively restaurant with some decent food. The atmosphere is great. Live music from Wednesday to Saturday night. The two signers, Desmond and I believe, Patrick ? Was great. Friendly and encouraged everyone to sing. The decor is ok. But really, your not here for that. Spicy Bullfrog in chili sauce $18.98 This was amazing if not very good. Good portion here. Large frog legs. Would recommend. Homemade pork and cabbage dumplings $9.98 Nothing special... I thought this was ok. Premium lamb skewers $7.28 Good for what it is. Flaming beef skewers $7.98 Thick cut beef in spices and flame grilled in front of you. Not bad. Would recommend. Maggie lobster $1 on special after $30 Super deal. Lobster was good. Not just because of the price. Overall, great atmosphere. Food is pretty good too. Would come again. Free parking.
I’m not one to usually give bad reviews unless I’ve received absolute horrendous service. I’ve heard good things about this place from friends prior to their grand opening but maybe it’s gone downhill since then. There’s not just one incident where it lead me to give it a one star, there were many red flags: 1. Hostess did not check for vaccine validation upon entry 2. Bartender did not wear a mask the whole time 3. Ordered a mojito and lol, it was made without lime 4. Ordered one of their famous sweet and sour pork with the candied round shell but server said it was unavailable on the Saturday…. Considering that it’s one of their popular dishes, they should’ve had it especially on a busy night 5. Dishes took a long time to arrive, I ordered the Peking duck and waited ~1hr and 45 mins for it, they didn’t serve it until I asked for the bill. The Peking duck dish came with ONLY 6 wraps for the whole duck…. 6. Servers carried food out from the kitchen often but not to the main floor guests but to the vip rooms. Even tables around me complained about the slow service. Aside from the cons, the skewers, tropical cocktail, and entertainment were good.
Great food, good prices, but the music is a little too loud. I wish they would turn down the music so people can have a proper conversation. Currently they're offering $1 crab legs for anyone that spends over $35 per person. The skewers and the lobster noodles are a must get.
The prices are so low! I was a bit worried seeing past reviews of slow service but for us the service was so speedy and we got SO Much food for the price. We ordered a bunch of dishes since they were inexpensive and ended up with a lot of take home. The staff was pleasent, the food was overall good. The kung pao chicken was a bit too sweet compared to your average. But the soup for lunch was great.
Decided to try out this restaurant after passing by and noticing it.... Ordering is done thru website... The English menu is missing words on lots of items from being cut off, i believe... So it was difficult to figure out what the food was.... The Chinese menu has full name of dishes.... Staff were attentive... Service was fast... Ordered the more expensive sweet & sour pork which came with good presentation but the outer ball was definitely too sweet to be edible... The skewers were a little spicy and yummy...
very good atmosphere when we went at night. it was so busy and good music.People also went on stage to sing. I also tried it during lunch time the food was good. I recommend this place
Good vibes, decent food, lots of choices. Private rooms and live music available. Spacious and opens late.
Restaurant is spacious. Staff was friendly. They also have singers on certain days. Food was ok but I recommend trying the sugar ball over sweet & sour pork.
