Fortune House

Moved to the area last year and normally collect my chinese from Highams park. Ordered from Fortune House tonight and everything was really nice so will be ordering again, quick delivery and polite staff on the phone. We received a bottle of coke, prawn crackers and a chinese Christmas calendar complimentary, thank you!

Excellent value, friendly service, tasty food. The duck pancakes and grilled dumplings in particular were excellent.

I moved into the area recently. My 1st order was delivered quickly. Todays order took over an hour to deliver. Total debacle followed, driver couldn't find me and he forgot card machine. Finally it arrived, I went to pay, and the new driver never had a card machine. Driver rang shop, he said he'd come back for payment. After 15 mins they rang to take payment. I paid but told them that the Spring rolls where soggy and cold. Rice was greasy and duck had so much fat on it. They said I could get free Spring Rolls on next order, like im going to order again from them.

Food is tasty but I can't for the love of me work out why the website won't let me register Says they don't deliver the the E17 postcode when you try.

Update : this take away is open and they dont have any problems with rats inspite what one guy just wrote. He is liar . Im inside the take away ordering my chicken in black bean souse . If you love chinese food this place is for you. Big choice of meals and for everyone : veggi lovers and chicken lovers, hot food lovers. They have all and for reasonable price. Meals are prepared in good time and people working there are very kind. This is typical take away so you cannot eat inside and only order food to take with you. They also deliver to your door. There is few chinese take aways in the area but for me this one is the best considering the taste of meals and price. Chicken in black bean with plain noodles is a haven . Oh and when you spend £10 they always give you something extra from the heart .

Popular and fast. Very local to me so collection or delivery is very fast. I'm not keen on their pancake rolls which seem a little flat and greesy but I do recommend the Chilli Salt Box, prawn squid chicken chips all delicious

Quick service, decent quality food. Ate from here a couple of times during a recent weekend staying in Leyton and encountered no issues at all with service or food quality.

just ordered a deep fried squid. was nice, although like every Chinese food.. contains alot of oil. it has flavour and taste. they maintain the vegetables. But if you're ordering one meal. it's not enough. you have to order more but the price is expensive compared to non Chinese places.. As the food menus offered in Asian places.. Are about the same. But sold cheaply and made nearly the same. As they would at Fortune House. I love seafood.

Just ordered lot of food from here, food cameout quick and was really tasty. They gave us a free bottle of coca cola. Will comeback here again staff is friendly
